Abstract: A high temperature brazing fixture and method of manufacture for a gas turbine component made of a superalloy is disclosed herein. The high temperature brazing fixture includes a first and second frame member, a support member, and positioning member, all of which are made from the superalloy and fastened together using tab and tab lock couplings. The support member is configured to interface with and support the gas turbine engine component, and the positioning member is configured to interface with and position at least a first location of or hold a first dimension of the gas turbine component.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fixture and method for mounting a head window to a frame for use in a submarine periscope system. The fixture supports the head window during the potting of the head window to the frame. A spring-loaded clamping plate is mountable to a baseplate for relative movement therebetween. The clamping assembly has an oval recessed portion. A plurality of spaced apart feet are formed within the oval. The feet support and are bonded to the head window. Shim stock are placed between the feet to define a critical gap.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved ski holding device for mounting a ski on a table such as a work bench to prepare the ski base and edges. Problems presented by the new trapezoidal and monocoque designs are overcome by using a simulated ski boot to mount the ski. The mounting also provides for pivoting the ski from a position in which the base is horizontal with the ski inverted, positions in which the base of the ski is vertical and intermediate positions and holding the ski in such orientation. There is additional locking means for holding the base in a horizontal and inverted position. There is also provision for easily disengaging a boot portion of the holding device from a mounting portion of the holding device to reverse the direction in which the ski is pointing.

Abstract: An apparatus for lifting a pellet which is on a wafer sheet including a pin holder having a plurality of peripheral pin insertion holes formed in an X pattern. The pin holder also has V-shaped cut-out areas in the left and right sides surrounded by the X pattern, and the pin holder is driven up and down by a vertical drive. The pellet-lifting apparatus further includes peripheral lifting pins inserted into the peripheral pin insertion holes, and V-shaped bridges fastened to the pin holder so that the peripheral lifting pins are held between inner surfaces of the cut-out areas in the pin holder. With such a structure, peripheral lifting pins are set in the peripheral pin insertion holes of the pin holder so that the pins meet different sizes of pellets and lift them in a stable manner.

Abstract: A saw and a fence is disclosed. The saw may be a "radial" saw of the type supported on an arm above the table. The fence is supported in the table by means of grooves formed in the table. Each groove is open at each end of the table and the fence slides into the groove from the end. Longitudinal ribs on the fence fit into slots in the groove. A second slot receives a filler which prevents sawdust from entering the groove and the filler likewise has ribs.
