  • Patent number: 11471928
Abstract: A positioning device for hot stamping includes a pilot pin and a driving mechanism for driving the pilot pin. Before a plate material is placed into a press die, when the driving mechanism positions the pilot pin at a predetermined projecting position, a tip portion of the pilot pin projects from a pin guide hole and a body portion of the pilot pin formed further toward a base end side than the tip portion projects from the pin guide hole. Before a process in which the press die removes heat from the plate material after having been press-formed by the press die, when the driving mechanism positions the pilot pin at a predetermined immersed position, the body portion of the pilot pin is immersed in the pin guide hole while only the tip portion of the pilot pin projects from the pin guide hole.

Abstract: A communication receiver and a receiving method are disclosed. An analog front-end device samples a receiving signal and generates a sampled signal. A signal detector detects presence of the receiving signal according to the sampled signal. A symbol timing recovery (STR) unit determines an optimal symbol sampling point according to a zero-crossing point of the sampled signal when the receiving signal is present, and then generates a recovered symbol based on an optimally chosen sampled value according to the optimal symbol sampling point.

  • Patent number: 8459527
Abstract: A welding jig for ensuring concentricity of an interior surface of a pipe with a circular outer periphery of a bolting flange thereon, comprising (i) a frame member; (ii) two spaced-apart rollers positioned at one end of said frame member, each adapted to remain in contacting engagement during welding with said circular outer periphery of said bolting flange; and (iii) a chill block, having a convexly-curved outer surface of a curvature corresponding to a desired inner diameter of said pipe, adapted to be positioned proximate said interior surface of said pipe. The rollers permit translational movement of the chill block about a center point of said pipe flange when the welding jig is placed on the pipe flange, to permit uniform diametrical deposition of weld material on said inner diameter of said pipe flange. A method of making a pipe is further disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a root section of a rotor blade of a wind turbine is disclosed. The method includes assembling a plurality of supporting rods with an interface section to a hub interface of the wind turbine in an essentially circular shape such that there are gaps between the supporting rods; arranging first fibres in the gaps which first fibres are physically and/or chemically compatible with an injection material; placing a first molding tool along an outer surface of the circular shape and a second molding tool along an inner surface of the circular shape, treating the injection material so that it bonds with the first fibres. The invention also concerns a supporting rod holding arrangement for such purpose and a root section of a rotor blade manufactured by such method.
