Wheeled, Carried By User Patents (Class 273/129M)
  • Patent number: 5333867
Abstract: A ball-driving device has an elongated handle in adjustable and lockable relative relationship with a chassis mounting one wheel inboard of the chassis, and, in a modification thereof, two wheels outboard of the chassis for greater stability. The distal portion of the chassis has Y-branched arms for cradling a ball to be driven over and upon a playing surface and a drive cup that makes physical contact with the ball to be driven upon forward driving thrust of the handle.

  • Patent number: 5271619
Abstract: Apparatus for assisting a physically impaired person when bowling comprising a dolly having roller means therebeneath for effecting a linear direction of motion to the dolly; a pedestal supported on the dolly, the pedestal having a shaft therein mounted in the direction of motion of the dolly, the shaft being mounted to allow rotational motion but to preclude linear motion of the shaft; a faceplate secured to the forward end of the shaft with rollers extending forwardly thereof for contacting a bowling ball to be rolled; a handle coupled to the rearward end of the shaft for imparting a linear motion to the shaft, pedestal, dolly, roller means, faceplate, rollers and bowling ball; a coupling joining the handle and shaft; and vertical plates mounted on the dolly on opposite sides of the coupling to allow for only vertical movement of the handle with respect to the shaft.

  • Patent number: 5207721
Abstract: A golf putter includes an elongated head having an axle adapted for supporting a pair of coaxial rotatable wheels. The putter is rolled along the wheels in the direction of a sight line to strike and direct the golf ball. The strike surface of the putter is convex to assure proper relative position between the ball and the strike surface regardless of the angular position of the putter. The wheels have a resilient outer covering to protect the putting surface and to assure that the wheels grip the putting surface and roll rather than slide as the putter is advanced.
