Abstract: A dice game machine using a die in the shape of a regular hexahedron or dodecahedron. Each side of the die has a drawing of a symbol and is provided with a plurality of magnet pins having a pattern identifying the symbol on the opposite side. This die is accommodated in a rotatable cup having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a base opening. During the rotation of the cup, the die moves freely in the upper portion of the cup. When the rotation of the cup stops, the die falls into the lower portion of the cup in a predetermined posture. The die then has a bottom side in contact with a stage via the base opening. A plurality of Hall elements are disposed on the stage to detect corresponding magnet pins. A symbol identified by signals from the Hall elements is displayed on a display. Signals from a plurality of dice game machines are supplied to a computer which displays a combination of a plurality of symbols on the display.
Abstract: A board game includes a game board over which game pieces move across squares identifying different categories of questions. The game also includes a timer, dice, a dice thrower, and several categories of question cards.
Abstract: A word building game is provided and consists of a plurality of playing cubes each having a letter with a score value on each side thereof. A two minute timer is for timing the play of the game after the cubes are cast upon a flat surface. A player can form at least one word from the letters on the top sides of the cubes and then add up the score values.
Abstract: Dice game methods involving three dice and a doubling cube. The methods involve the providing of an objective total count to be reached to win the game, assigning a value to each face of the dice, permitting a first player to continue rolling as long as a certain minimum value is achieved for each roll, establishing an initial entry level beyond which the player can retain an accumulated count, permitting a player to stop rolling to fix his cumulative count and recommence accumulating a count during his next roll, returning the count to the last stopped cumulative count if the player does not achieve the minimum value on a given roll, and allowing the player whose turn is about to begin to offer the doubling cube to the opponent whereby the stakes are doubled if the opponent accepts the doubling cube or the game is won by the offering player if the opponent refuses to accept the doubling cube.
Abstract: The board game consists of a central, geometrically shaped goal area with rectangular playing surfaces extending from each side of the goal area. A single tortuous path extends outwardly from the center along each of the rectangular playing surfaces. The shapes of the spaces that comprise the tortuous path are identical to the shape of the goal area. The game also utilizes multi-sided dice having faces which correspond in shape to the shape of the goal area. The playing pieces used in the game are similarly shaped. The game board is hingedly constructed so that when not in use, it can be folded into a three-dimensional box that is then used to store the playing pieces and dice. The game also includes a cover for the folded box. The cover is used during the play of the game to shake and roll the dice.
