Abstract: The present invention is a game that relies on the interactions of magnetic fields to test the skills of a player or players, and more specifically a game device which relies upon the characteristic of magnets in which like poles between two magnets form a mutual field of repulsion whereas opposing poles of the same magnets form a field of attraction.

Abstract: A sound absorbing rebounding device provides a way for a person to practice dribbling a basketball while minimizing sounds and vibrations emanating from the basketball and the device during such practice. The device has a frame, a rebounding surface that mimics or replaces the hard surface on which a user would normally dribble to cause a rebounding effect, and a base to separate or space the rebounding surface from the floor, so that sounds and vibrations during bouncing of the basketball are not transferred to the surface on which the device is resting. The frame shape allows the user to practice dribbling in all different directions around the user's body placed relative to the user's legs, such as a T, an H, or the number 8. The device may be collapsible via hinges placed within its frame that allow the device to be collapsed in varying degrees of compactness.

Abstract: A target game system including a target game device having a plurality of hoop members arranged in stacked relationship, each hoop member including a frame defining an elongated central opening through which a tossable item may pass, the elongated central opening having an opening width greater than an opening height, coupled to the frame, a capture net configured to capture the tossable item passing through the central opening, and at least one coupler configured to removably couple the hoop member with at least one other hoop member of the plurality. In addition, each target game device includes a vertical support member configured to support the plurality of hoop members above a ground surface, the vertical support member including a ground-engaging stabilizer configured to positionally stabilize the vertical support member by engagement with the ground surface.

Abstract: In one implementation, a game apparatus includes a base with a playing surface that has (i) a first end with a first designated area for cups and (ii) a second end; a game piece; a tether that attaches the game piece to the base so as to permit the game piece to move freely within the tether's range; and a first launcher that includes a mechanism to launch the game piece as a projectile, the first launcher being positioned at or around the second end to launch the game piece toward the first designated area for cups, wherein the first designated area for cups and at least a portion of the first launcher are within the tether's range.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to drinking games and apparatuses for the use therewith. Specifically, this invention relates to an improved drinking game component and cup alignment apparatus for use with various drinking games. The drinking game cup or attachment and cup alignment apparatus may be designed in such a manner as to allow for simplified, accurate and reliable positioning of one or more drinking cups on a playing surface.

Abstract: The subject game table apparatus comprises a generally flat play surface configured for placement between opposing players. The play surface is preferably rectangular in shape and is equipped with at least one water trough set into a channel in the top side of the table. The trough is parallel and proximal to a side edge of the table and near but outside of a generally central play area. The water trough has a drain at one end and a nozzle at the opposite end of the trough, such that liquid will flow from the nozzle end of the trough to the drain end. The trough is configured to collect and rinse thrown play pieces, usually balls, and return such objects to a player located near the drain end of the trough. The trough further has a liquid pump and tubing configured to convey flowing water from the trough drain to the opposite nozzle, for recirculation.

Abstract: This invention will provide a portable point/beer pong game for individual or team use. The invention is portable where it can be broken down, carried or stored in a bag, or other suitable container. The invention can be used as a ‘Beer Pong’ game as is common or it can be used as a game where points are scored. The invention top can also be used as a floating game in a swimming pool.

Abstract: A beer pong system that includes a catch component and a stabilization component. The catch component is configured to be disposed within a hollow cavity of a cup and comprises a compliant surface to aid in preventing a ping pong ball thrown into the hollow cavity from bouncing out. Versions of the catch component include a filler material-filled pouch, a filler material-filled retainer, a catch membrane, and uncontained catch material. The stabilization component stabilizes the cup in an upright position and includes, among other versions, a weight configured to be disposed within the hollow cavity of the cup. The beer pong system enables players to play beer pong with stable cups and ball retention without requiring uncontained liquid in the cup.

Abstract: A modular beer pong table comprising a plurality of planar members. Each planar member having the ability to connect to any other planar member indiscriminately by a unique mechanism that employs an alternating pattern of protrusions which can mate with any other similar set of alternating protrusions. The mating protrusions providing for a strong joint and easy assembly. The planar members along with cap-like members combine to form a briefcase-like assembly for easy transportability and storability. The briefcase-like assembly further being able to retain two specialized stands which can be used to elevate the modular beer pong table during use. The modular beer pong table having the ability to float on water. Additional planar members of a modular nature that facilitate multiple concurrent beer pong game sessions. One embodiment employing the unique method of connecting modules for use in a toy construction set.

In use, the generally flat surface is substantially parallel with respect to the ground. A user stands on solid ground outside a perimeter of the generally flat surface and bounces the ball off the generally flat surface. The height and tension of the generally flat surface may be easily adjusted.

Abstract: The invention relates to table or floor games based on throwing a ball into the game field, and can be used in organizing leisure and entertainment for both children and adults. The game comprises a game field with a plurality of holes and at least one movable trap for the ball outside the game field. The trap for the ball may be fixed to a rod, which is slidably mounted on a bar, said bar being attached to the sidewall, which limits the game field. The trap for the ball may be fixed to a rod, which is mounted on a movable platform.

Abstract: A game system having a frame supporting a hoop wall, bounce floor, bounce wall and ball return floor. The hoop wall has a cutout and multiple hoops facing the bounce wall. The hoops are vertically clear of one another. A plurality of balls is used to play the game. A score is made when a ball is thrown from behind the hoop wall towards the bounce floor and off the bounce wall reversing direction into a hoop.

Abstract: A beer pong table is provided herein which, includes an elongated, planar member having a top surface. A hole extends through the top surface and at least partially through the planar member so as to define a first recess in the planar member, with a cooling arrangement being disposed in the first recess. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a beer pong table may be provided with a recessed cooling arrangement. The recessed arrangement provides flexibility in cup arrangement during play and facilitates cleaning.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to a game table that has a plurality of cups that may be automatically moved from a storage position to a playing position. In certain other embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to a game table that has a plurality of cups that may be manually moved from a storage position to a playing position. In certain other embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to devices and methods that allow a user to provide a payment mechanism, and upon the acceptance of the payment mechanism, a game table will move a plurality of cups from a storage position to a playing position. In some embodiments, provision is made for the dispensing of a liquid drink or other reward when predetermined actions occur during play of the game. Although the presently disclosed embodiments will work with any game requiring cups for play, the disclosure makes reference to the game of Beer Pong for convenience of description.

Abstract: A beer pong arcade game apparatus and methods of operation are described. Initially, a new round is started and out limit is set. For each shot, it is determined whether the player has successfully made the ball into one of the plurality of cups. If the user makes the ball into one of the cups, that cup is retracted below or flush with a surface. Alternatively, if the user fails to make the ball into one of the cups, the out limit is decremented. The game ends if the out limit reaches zero before the player manages to make all of the cups. However, if the player manages to make all cups before exceeding the out limit, then a new round is started with a new out limit and a new set of cups.

A hole extends through the top surface and at least partially through the planar member so as to define a first recess in the planar member, with a cooling arrangement being disposed in the first recess. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a beer pong table may be provided with a recessed cooling arrangement. The recessed arrangement provides flexibility in cup arrangement during play and facilitates cleaning.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an apparatus and system for a target game used in conjunction with a toilet or urinal, wherein a target body is positioned within the toilet basin. The target game comprises a target body and coupling members, wherein the target body is divided into sections. The coupling members secure the target body to the toilet basin and include a securing member and an attachment member, wherein the securing member is any device that is capable of attaching to the toilet and wherein the attachment member couples the securing member to the target body. Other embodiments of the apparatus and system include image projection systems to create the target.

Abstract: A game includes a base unit, a target area, a launch area, and an electronic controller. The target area is attached to the base unit and has multiple target sections. The launch area is attached to the base and is configured for bouncing a playing piece into one of the multiple target sections. The electronic controller is configured to monitor the target sections and control game play. For two person play, the game may have two launch areas and the target area may be divided into two target regions.

Abstract: An inflatable table has a rectangular shape. Recesses are formed in the top surface of the table at each end of the table. These recesses form a target area that can have any number of geometric shapes, such as triangular or diamond. The recesses are sized and shaped to hold a cup, such as a standard 16 ounce disposable cup. The table may be provided with legs to raise the level of the table surface. The legs may be inflatable, allowing the entire table and legs to be deflated to a minimal size for easy transportation.

Players toss or bounce one of the colored beer-pong balls across the full length of the table, attempting to successfully land the ball in one of a plurality of cups arranged in the form of a pyramid. In the event of a successful ball toss, substantially the entire contents of one or more cups must be consumed by a player from an opposing team, depending on the color of the ball; and the cup is removed from the pyramid. Printed directions are tailored to meet the needs of the players, having a degree of edginess that varies directly with age groups into which players are categorized, whereby the directions are more risqué in game versions played by adult couples.

The playing panel includes a plurality of sheer surfaces and protrusions on its playing surface, which allow for random and unpredictable rebounding of a ball thrown at the playing panel. The playing panel further includes a vertical curvature and a horizontal curvature, which may be convex, thereby increasing the rebounding angle of the thrown ball, thereby increasing the number of players able to participate in a single game. The horizontal curvature alternatively may be concave, thereby permitting the player to control and direct the rebounding angle of the thrown ball. The playing panel also includes a weighting channel which may be filled with a ballast substance.

A starting line extends between the side edges and is orientated generally parallel to the front edge. The starting line is positioned nearer the front edge than the back edge. A plurality of cups is positioned on the game board. A first and second of the cups is positioned generally between the starting line and the back edge. A third of the cups is positioned generally between the first and second cups and the front edge. A fourth and fifth of the cups is positioned between front edge and the third cup. A sixth of the cups is positioned between the fourth and fifth cups and the back edge. A game piece is elongated and has a pointed end. Players attempt the game piece on the board and into one of the cups.

Abstract: A piece-bouncing game wherein each player seeks to propel a play piece to make it bounce on a playing surface and then travel in a trajectory which causes the piece to land on a flat platform. The player scores a point in the game only if the piece lands and remains on the platform. The game consists of a cylindrical dish having a flat base on which is anchored an array of plugs, the play pieces being mountable on the plugs. Each play piece is formed by a circular collar having a membrane lying across its central plane and provided with a center hole. In the storage mode of the game, in which the play pieces are stored within the dish, each plug is plugged into the center hole of the piece mounted thereon. In the active mode of the game, the pieces are taken off the plugs and the dish is inverted and placed on the playing surface whereby the base of the dish is then raised above the playing surface to serve as the platform.

A component (18) is on a top surface of the wedge shaped ramp (16) for deflecting a basketball (20), when the wedge shaped ramp (16) is positioned upon a basketball court (22) under a hoop (24) on a backboard (26) suspended from a stanchion (28) on the basketball court (22). The basketball (20) will bounce back to a desired area where a person is standing doing practice shooting, allowing the person to spend more time practicing and less time retrieving the basketball (20).

Abstract: A table top game where attempts are made to propel a ball or other playing piece into a container or cup with the aid of a game board. A dual use game board has a generally square portion oppositely opposed to a generally rectangular portion. Present in the square and rectangular portions are two oppositely opposed tabs. Each of the tabs may fit into a container or cup, preferably a large soda pop cup. When the tab of the square portion is fitted into the cup, the cup may be stood upright so that the square portion forms a backboard. When the tab of the rectangular portion is fitted into the cup, the cup may be stably rested upon its side so that the rectangular portion forms a ramp. A first embodiment of a game piece has a flexible slat with a central spring, a post, and a bail. A ball or other projectile may be placed into the bail so that when the slat is flicked, the ball is propelled towards the upright cup with its backboard.

Abstract: A new Disc Bouncing Game for simulating a basketball game by awarding of points relative to the bouncing of a disc, such as a coin, through a hoop. The inventive device includes a game board having the simulation of one end of a basketball court, and a backboard and hoop assembly detachably secured to the game board.

Abstract: The resilient game target includes a generally planar surface which has multiple cup shaped concave receptacles. Multiple resilient dome-shaped protrusions surround each cup shaped receptacle such that a game piece which strikes a resilient dome-shaped protrusion will be reflected. Multiple target indicia are displayed on the planar surface in association with selected cup-shaped receptacles such that a selected score may be associated with a final resting position of a thrown game piece. The resilient game target is preferably integrally formed of a resilient foam, such as open-cell polyurethane.

Abstract: A game apparatus and method are disclosed which utilize a game apparatus with a target area having an upper face with an aperture passing therethough. Bumps are disposed on the upper face of the target area, and a lip is disposed about an outer edge of the target area, extending above the upper face. The lip has slots extending downward from its upper edge. A base supports the target area above a playing surface. Irregularly shaped balls, such as balls in the shape of one-half of a sphere or three-forths of a sphere, may be used. The irregularly shaped ball is held such that, when the ball is propelled toward the playing surface with substantially no horizontal force, the ball nonetheless bounces towed the target area. A base retains balls that are bounced through the aperture in the target area, and vents in the base provide a view of the balls contained therein and provides for savings in material costs.

Abstract: A base running ball game has combined paddle and bat implements to hit a ball. Offensive players use the combined paddle bat to hit the ball into a fairfield occupied by defensive players. Some of the defensive players use the combined paddle and bat implement to field the batted ball and send the ball into safe areas of bases. A put out is made when the ball lands in the safe area of a base in front of a batter running to the base.

Abstract: A dog toy for providing an unpredictable bounce to a ball and comprising a ball target base element with a generally cylindrical circumference. The top surface of the ball target base element is formed from a multiplicity of planar target areas wherein each planar target area defines a different plane than the other planar target areas. The multiplicity of planar target areas includes a plurality of upwardly inclined planar target areas extending generally toward the central portion of the ball target base element and a plurality of generally downwardly inclined planar target areas and a horizontal planar target area defined by the lowermost edges of the inclined planar target areas in the central portion of the top surface of the ball target base element.

Abstract: A paddle game and method of preparing same for play is provided, having an elongate deflector adapted for resting on a table top. The deflector has a generally triangular configuration when viewed in cross section and has two substantially solid opposing angular playing surfaces which extend toward each other in intersecting planes to define an apex. A preselected game board is removably positioned on and cooperates with the deflector so that the game board extends generally vertically above the apex of the deflector. The game board has a target such as one or more openings therein for use by the players.

Abstract: An action game whereby the players throw a ball at a plurality of disks so that one of the disks becomes attached to the ball. The ball and disks are covered with hook and loop material, wherein the disks will become attached to the ball when the ball comes into contact with a disk. A variety of games can be played with the game set of the present invention. For example, the disks can all be placed in an area of a playing surface. Each player throws the ball at the disks, trying to get a disk to stick to the ball. The ball is bounced off of the playing surface and caught by the opposing player. If a disk sticks to the ball, the opposing player must keep the disk. When all of the disks have been removed from the playing surface, the player with the least amount of disks wins the game.

Abstract: A basketball-like board game that is played by bouncing tokens off an obstacle impressed surface and into a receptacle having an angled backboard. Included is a token retrieval system to facilitate token collection and counting.
