Liquid Buoyant Patents (Class 273/350)
  • Patent number: 4412680
Abstract: A floating arcade includes a housing in the form of an elongated transparent enclosure with a water pistol operatively connected at one end for directing a jet of water toward targets situated within the housing for striking the same. A siphon tube extends downwardly from the water pistol for immersion in the body of water on which the housing is floatably supported to draw water from the body of water in response to operation of the water pistol. The housing may be floatably supported by buoyant material secured to the underside thereof. The bottom wall of the housing may be perforated for drainage of water from the housing back to the body of water and may be removable for cleaning purposes. In an alternate embodiment, water pistols may be operatively connected to both ends of the housing with a target supported for longitudinal sliding movement between opposite ends of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4223894
Abstract: A water toy including a float, which may be in the form of a boat, carrying one or more target members. The target members may be mounted on the boat deck and be rotatable or vibratable with respect to the float. A manually-operable pump means has an open end submersible in the water on which the float floats and a nozzle through which a stream of water is directed at the target members. The pump means may include a squeezable bulb between its submersible end and the nozzle, and one way valves may be included in the submersible end and the nozzle. The pump means is removably mountable on the float when not in use.

  • Patent number: 4215862
Abstract: Disclosed is a water-surface target towed by a mother ship which comprises a towed member running underwater with a ballast weight suspended therefrom, a target pole set up on the top of the towed member, and a stabilizing plate attached to a position above the waterline of the target pole at an angle of incidence. The water-surface target can be used even under bad conditions and towed at a high speed, e.g. 30 knots, due to the towed member being capable of continually maintaining stability underwater.
