Abstract: An intelligent target comprising a target body suspended from a support structure, at least one sensor affixed to the target body that detects a hit in an area of the target body, a controller, in communication with each sensor, that records the hits detected by the sensor and the area of the target body that was hit and issues a release command when a predetermined number of hits has been reached, and a release mechanism operatively connected with the controller and which releases the target body and allows the body to fall from the support structure on receipt of the release command from the controller.

Abstract: A target support system is used for supporting a target device for shooting practice. The target support system includes a target support frame, a target connecting mechanism, and a forward barrier. The target support frame is placed onto a target placement area. The target connecting mechanism is arranged on the target support frame and operatively supports a target device on the target support frame. The forward barrier protects the system from impact of a projectile on the system.

Abstract: A water dousing target game in which water is dumped upon a player when a target is hit with a projective includes a support stand, a water reservoir, and a drop mechanism having a trip rod and a paddle mechanism with a target. The stand assembly is height-adjustable having a plurality of stabilizing legs. The water reservoir is located at a top end of the support stand. The drop mechanism includes a bottom panel hingedly covering an open bottom of the reservoir having an attached trip rod releasably supported by the paddle mechanism. The paddle mechanism includes an arm rotatably connected to the support stand and the target having a flat enlarged end. When the target is struck with a projectile, the paddle arm rotates and releases the trip rod support, causing the bottom panel of the reservoir to hinge open and drop the contents on another person.

The water entertainment apparatus includes a flush toilet means, a target means, and a flush toilet support means. The flush toilet means includes a liquid reservoir member, bowl member and drain member. The target means includes a target surface member and an actuator means. The liquid reservoir member is connected to the bowl member and the bowl member is connected to the drain member. The target surface member is connected to the actuator means. The actuator means is connected to the water reservoir member. The flush toilet means is supported by the flush toilet support means. The method provides liquid in the liquid reservoir member of the water entertainment apparatus. Then a subject is positioned below the drain member. A projectile is then impacted on the target surface member. The target surface member then actuates the actuator means.

Abstract: A target array in which a struck pendulous target rotates past and interacts with a shock absorber before coming to rest in a set position on a ledge. The shock absorber consists of a laterally-extending shaft that extends through a piece of pipe. The diameter of the shaft is appreciably less than the inside diameter of the pipe, so that the pipe is pendulously supported on the shaft. The shaft is parallel to but spaced from the axis about which the target rotates. The spacing is such that as the struck target rotates it contacts and pushes aside the pipe, thereby transferring energy from the target to the pipe and preventing the target from rebounding when it reaches its set position resting on a laterally-extending ledge. The laterally-extending ledge also is rotatable about a laterally-extending axis and is connected to a resetting target. When the resetting target is struck, the impact causes the ledge to rotate out from under the set targets which descend by gravity to their original positions.

An offensive score is accomplished by landing the projectile within a subsection of the main or primary target. Subsequently, an opponent may dislodge the projectile by successfully striking the associated subtarget.

Abstract: Game apparatus physically adapted for use on a flat playing surface, such as a shuffleboard court includes a support frame having a bracket for engaging the parallel edges of the shuffleboard court and a horizontal support bar suspended above the court between the two edges thereof. A plurality of scoring pins is each pivotally mounted underneath the horizontal bars so as to be suspended between the bar and the surface of the shuffleboard court. Each scoring pin has a flexible brush mounted on its lower extremity and extending downwards so as to engage the playing surface. Plural score indicating plates are provided, each plate being rotatably coupled to the horizontal bar, and positioned adjacent to one of the scoring pins with a corresponding score thereon.
