Internally Threaded Patents (Class 277/525)
  • Patent number: 11460116
Abstract: A valve for regulating a fluid flow includes a body with an opening at a top. The valve also includes a bonnet arranged within the opening, The valve further includes a coupling mechanism joining the body to the bonnet. The coupling mechanism includes a plurality of body lugs extending radially inward toward a stem axis, each body lug of the plurality of body lugs being separated from an adjacent body lug by a body opening. The coupling mechanism also includes a plurality of bonnet lugs extending radially outward from the stem axis, each bonnet lug of the plurality of bonnet lugs being separated from an adjacent bonnet lug by a bonnet opening. Each bonnet lug is adapted to axially move through a corresponding body opening to transition an axial position of the bonnet relative to the body.

  • Patent number: 10253771
Abstract: There is provided an airless paint spray pump wherein the pump is a double acting piston pump having an inlet communicating with a source of paint, a motor for driving the pump, a pressure controller for controlling the pressure of the pressurized paint delivered by the pump, and a filter for filtering the paint delivered by the pump. The pump includes features which increase the accessibility of the components thereof, prevent the incorrect installation of the seal packings in the pump cylinder, and allow the assembly of the piston in the pump cylinder properly aligned with the cylinder so as not to damage the seal packings therein.

  • Publication number: 20100206162
Abstract: As seal assembly for a ram assembly is provided. An elongated ram extends through the seal assembly. The seal assembly includes a housing body, a plurality of seals and a retaining, and compression, device. The seals, as well as a male energizer and a female energizer, each have a split body. In this configuration, the seals and energizers may be replaced without removing the seal assembly housing body and retaining device from about the ram. This further allows for the ram to remain in place during seal replacement. That is, the split seals may be separated an placed about the ram. Once in place, the ends of the split seal are joined at an interface. The retaining/compression device compresses the seals so that the interface is sealed.

  • Patent number: 6318730
Abstract: An improved tufting machine push rod housing gland seal assembly for use with a tufting machine is disclosed. The gland seal assembly of the invention includes an elongate carrier formed by a longitudinal axis, having a first end and a spaced second end, constructed for being received within a gland seal receiving cavity defined within a push rod housing. A concentric throughbore is defined within the carrier about the longitudinal axis. A first continuous annular groove is defined in a side wall of the bore, and an axially spaced second continuous annular groove is also defined in the side wall of the bore. The two grooves together define therebetween a continuous annular bearing surface for supporting and guiding the push rod as it is reciprocated through the gland seal assembly and along the axis, thus minimizing the impact of push rod flexure or oscillation on the gland seal assembly, and the push rod housing.

  • Patent number: 5913441
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel tank presenting a tank body having a neck about an axis, the neck being extended by a region of section smaller than that of the neck, a plate, and a nut screwed onto the neck of the tank, an annular housing for a gasket being defined by a top edge of the neck, a bottom edge of the plate, an outer cylindrical plate of the annular region, and an inner cylindrical face of the nut, the gasket having a top edge, a bottom edge, an outer edge, and an inner edge, and the tank being made of plastics material. In section, the gasket has a profile that is elongate parallel to said axis.
