  • Patent number: 7914032
Abstract: A motorcycle accessory allows a user to rest their leg in a cradle, the leg cradle supported by a body which body is in turn clamped to the frame, crash bars, forks or other parts of the motorcycle. The leg cradle may be hinged so that it can be moved between a position for supporting the leg to a position allowing the rider to put their foot onto the body in a manner similar to a highway peg. The device may be made of aluminum, metal, polymer and so on, and may be customized with indicia. Padding on the leg cradle may increase the user's level of comfort.

Abstract: An attachment apparatus for adjusting the position of a footpeg of a motorcycle relative to a frame of the motorcycle includes a base plate and a support plate. The base plate is coupled to the frame. The support plate is secured to the base plate. The support plate includes a first side, a second side that is opposite the first side, and a footpeg retainer that retains the footpeg. The support plate alternatively supports the footpeg in a first position while the first side contacts the base plate and in a second position while the second side contacts the base plate. The second position is different relative to the frame than the first position. The support plate can include a supporter aperture and the base plate can include a base plate aperture. A plate attacher can extend through the supporter aperture and the base plate aperture to secure the support plate to the base plate. The footpeg retainer can include a footpeg retainer aperture that is adapted to receive a portion of the footpeg.

Abstract: A double wing bicycle fender is mounted on a frame pipe of a bicycle. When in use, a fender main body of the roll-up bicycle fender can be pulled out into an operative position at both sides of the shaft to increase the effective width of the fender for blocking the splashing of mud, water and road debris, and can also be rolled up on the shaft and collected in a holding body, thus it not only saves space but is aesthetically pleasing.

  • Publication number: 20110006503
Abstract: The device protects the forearm, hand and fingers of a wheelchair occupant from injury through collision with obstacles by providing a shield that curves over the occupant's forearm. The shield ends in a compound curve that extends over the occupant's hand and fingers, curving inwardly toward the armrest. To accommodate the manually manipulated controls for motorized wheelchairs that usually protrude upwardly from the forward end of the armrest, the shield is appreciably longer than the base for the device to form a gap between the base and the shield that accommodates these controls while nevertheless continuing to protect the occupant's hand and fingers. Several ways in which the device can be attached to different classes of wheelchairs and device dimensions suitable for these classes also are shown and described.

Abstract: A bicycle having a wheel (e.g., a rear wheel) and a frame supported by the wheel. The frame includes a wheel support and a stay extending from the wheel support. A stay protector resiliently engages the stay and comprises a body member including a resilient material adapted to resiliently engage the stay, and a guard member positioned on (e.g., protruding beyond) an outer surface of the body member (e.g., on a top portion and/or bottom portion of the body member). Preferably, the stay includes a molded image on a central portion that is not covered by the guard member. In one embodiment, the guard member comprises a material that has a different hardness than the resilient material of the body member. For example, the guard member can comprise a material that is harder than the resilient material of the body member.
