Abstract: A multipurpose cart having a hand truck base with a nose extension, a tub, a handle wherein the handle is adjustably mounted in two positions 90 degrees apart, a shelf, caster wheels and a storage device. The multipurpose cart can be modified into various configurations for a variety of functions.

Abstract: A hand truck with an integral load restraing device comprised of an upright frame with a handle area, a toe plate which extends forwardly from the bottom of the upright frame and a pair of wheels mounted on the lower rear of the upright frame. Hand truck is equipped with integral universal clamping system arranged for restraining loads of varying geometric configurations back and against the upright frame of the hand truck. The integral clamping system is comprised of a telescoping clamp bar carrying a gear operated load restraining clamp equipped with universal load gripping fingers. Clamp bar and clamp telescope inwardly and outwardly to accommodate cargo of varying depth and are pivotally mounted to a lug inside the vertical slide track, allowing the clamping system to function over the entire height of the hand truck, pivot up and down, swing horizontally from side to side or, be stowed completely out of the way inside the slide track for conventional use of the hand truck.

Abstract: A baseplate for an article of baggage, e.g., luggage. The baseplate includes a support member and three or more wheels disposed on the support member along a substantially linear axis and arranged so that adjacent wheels are substantially equidistant to one another. This advantageously provides greater stability to the baggage while distributing the load substantially equally. The invention also relates to an assembly in which the baseplate is mounted to an exterior surface of an article of baggage and pivotable about the substantially linear axis when tilted so as to roll along all three wheels. In one embodiment, the baseplate has three wheels including two outer wheels and an intermediate wheel disposed therebetween. The diameter of the two outer wheels is the same and larger than that of the diameter of the intermediate wheel.

Abstract: An outboard motor caddy and stand that includes vertically extending uprights and vertically extending motor rails that are spaced from each other and connected by stabilizing bars extending diagonally from an upper portion of the vertically extending uprights to an intermediate portion of the motor support so as to distribute the load imparted by a motor and gas tank throughout the entire stand.

Abstract: A golf cart wheel covering device for protecting the cart wheels of a golf cart from a ground surface during use. The golf cart wheel covering device includes a panel comprising a generally flexible material. The panel has a generally circular shape. The panel has a peripheral edge. An elastic band is securely coupled to and extends along a length of the peripheral edge of the panel. The elastic band biases the peripheral edge inward such that a housing is defined, wherein the elastic band encircles an opening into the housing. The elastic band has a stretched position and a relaxed position. The elastic band is stretched to position a golf cart wheel through the opening.

Abstract: A foldable pushcart has a handle (10), a retractable device (20), and a stretcher (30). The handle (10) is retractable and has a locking case (15) to position the foldable pushcart in a folded state or in an expanded state. The retractable device (20) and stretcher (30) make the movement of the foldable pushcart consistent in one operation.

Abstract: A hand truck toe plate formed from light gauge steel sheet having a load supporting horizontal portion and a mounting vertical portion. The horizontal portion and vertical portion are separated by a 90 degree bend and include a plurality of longitudinal ribs. The vertical portion also includes two lateral ears that each have an end defined by a notch and are adapted to be mounted to side frames of the hand truck.

Abstract: A motor drive mounting arrangement includes a wheel holder fixedly fastened to the front end of the main shaft member of a golf cart to hold a motor holder and a transmission gearbox, a driving wheel supported on the transmission gearbox for synchronous rotation to move the golf cart upon operation of the motor in the motor holder, a battery holder mounted on the main shaft member of the golf cart to support the golf bag being carried on the golf cart and controlled by a circuit control box at the wheel holder to provide battery power supply to the motor in the motor holder.

Abstract: A heavy-duty all-terrain convertible hauler unit is provided which can be converted into various different configurations for hauling a wide variety of different kinds of cargo and material. This hauler unit includes an elongated chassis having first and second ends. A dolly-type load-support spade is attached to one end of the chassis and a pair of relatively large diameter rubber-tired wheels are mounted on the chassis at this same end, but on the side opposite the load-support spade. A longitudinally-extending handle member is mounted at the second end of the chassis when the hauler unit is used as an upright-type hand dolly. This handle member may instead be mounted on the load-support spade in a vertical position when the hauler unit is used as a horizontal-type cart. A third wheel is mounted in the center of the chassis at the second end of the chassis when the hauler unit is used as a horizontal-type cart.

Abstract: A portable load transporting dolly having a mechanism manually operable for selectively ascending or descending steps is shown. The dolly has generally cross-shaped wheels and a pivotal driving lever is located at its handle. A cable couples the pivotal driving lever to the rotating shaft of the cross-shaped wheels through a plurality of pulleys and ratchet gears such that the wheels may be rotated easily by gripping the lever. The radial arms of the cross-shaped wheels have sliding reciprocative rods which react with the steps of the staircase to enhance the climbing action of the dolly on the staircase.

Abstract: A transporting device has wheels, a stair climbing unit having climbing legs, an electric motor provided for driving of the stair climbing unit, a drive shaft which is driven by the electric motor and is formed as a crank shaft located symmetrically to a central longitudinal axis of the device, the drive shaft having halves each rotatably supporting a first crank for the climbing leg and a second crank for the wheel.

Abstract: A collapsible coin carrying cart for allowing users to easily carry coins won at casinos. The collapsible coin carrying cart includes a cart assembly including wheels, a pair of leg members mounted upon said wheels, and a plurality of first and second linkage members interconnecting the leg members; and also includes a plurality of coin storage units being removably mounted to said the assembly; and further includes fasteners being attached to the storage units for removably attaching the storage units to the cart assembly.

Abstract: A handcart has a base frame, a handle assembly, two wheel brackets, multiple wheels and two levers. The handle assembly is retractably connected to the base frame. Each wheel bracket is pivotally attached to one side of the base frame with a pivot pin. At least one of the wheels is rotatably mounted on each wheel bracket. One end of each lever is pivotally connected to each pivot pin, and another end is operationally connected to the handle assembly. Accordingly, the wheel brackets with the wheels will be automatically retracted or expanded through transmissions of the levers when the handle assembly is moved to an expanded position or a retracted position. The size of an object with the handcart can be minimized. In addition, getting the indoors dirty is avoided.

Abstract: A sack trolley (1) presents a support frame (2) accommodating lower carrying wheels (3) and an upper handle (4) which is articulated to the lower ends of its side spars (5) by way of hinges (6) on the upper ends of the side legs (7) of the support frame (2) to pivot about a transverse axis (A) parallel to the axis (R) of the carrying wheels, and can be fixed at least in a folded transport position and in an extended use position relative to the support frame (2). To adapt the sack trolley (1) readily to various usage and operating conditions both hinged sections (9, 10) which can be swiveled against one another can be braced with one another by interposition of two interengaging groups of friction discs (15, 16), one of which disc groups (15) is connected torsionally to one hinged section (9) and the other disc group (16) is connected torsionally to the other hinged section.

Abstract: A hand truck convertible into either one of a cart and an inclined cart includes a primary frame having a first pair of wheels rotatably mounted thereon. A secondary frame is pivotally attached to the primary frame and has at least one additional wheel rotatably mounted thereon. A connecting member is attached to the secondary frame. A first locking mechanism is attached to the primary frame and detachably secures the secondary frame to the primary frame while the secondary frame is in the hand-truck-position and while the secondary frame is in the inclined-cart-position. A second locking mechanism is attached to the primary frame and detachably secures the connecting member to the primary frame while the secondary frame is in the inclined-cart-position. Alternatively, a channel is formed in the primary frame and the connecting member is slidably engaged with the channel.

Abstract: A dual wheel foldable hand truck with a nose plate has a skeletal frame including laterally spaced vertical side rails. The frame has hingedly connected upper and lower frame sections with upper and lower side rails meeting at side rail interfaces. Handle operated lock slides are carried by the upper rail sections for downward sliding movement to releasably lock the frame sections in planar alignment. The foldable nose automatically locks in operative position when swung down from stowed position.

Abstract: A hand truck which is convertible into a cart having an elevated tabletop surface. The hand truck has a primary frame which includes a first pair of wheels rotatably mounted thereon. The hand truck has at least one additional wheel adapted to allow the hand truck to be used as a cart. The primary frame is generally parallel to a supporting surface while the hand truck is being used as a cart. The improvement to the hand truck includes a plate movably attached to the primary frame and movable between a first position, generally parallel to and contacting the primary frame, and a second position, generally parallel to and spaced apart from the primary frame, forming the tabletop surface.

Abstract: A supportive walker includes a front frame, a rear frame with a connection bar connected thereto and a pair of retaining frames connected to the front frame so that the connection bar extends through the two passages of the two retaining frames. A safety device has an engaging portion and an urging device which is biased between the retaining frame and the engaging portion. The engaging portion is releasably engaged with the connection bar by operating the urging device. Therefore, the front frame and the rear frame are expanded or folded securely when the urging device is released. The connection bar of the rear frame is movable in the passages of the retaining frames when the urging device is pressed.

Abstract: A dual position hand truck includes a central frame having two side rails and a toe plate. Positioned at an upper end of the central frame is a U-shaped handle bar which has a hand gripping portion and two extended legs with castered wheels attached at their respective bottom ends. The handle bar is pivotally attached to the frame by a fixed shaft and a pair of support brackets. The support brackets also allow the extended legs to slide along their length. Attached to the support brackets is a spring biased locking bar which locks the handle bar against rotational movement relative to the frame.

Abstract: A convertible hand truck is fitted with a beverage carrier tray when its in four-wheeled condition to support a plurality of bulk water containers. The tray may be detachable from the hand truck to facilitate usage of the hand truck for other purposes when not transporting the containers. The hand truck and/or tray is preferably fitted with upright end supports to provide stability to the stack of containers at the opposite ends of the stack. The end supports may be folded generally flush with the tray when not in use for compact storage.

Abstract: A three wheeled cart is equipped with an inclined gas cylinder holding rack, which is configured to accept a set of two such cylinders, and a towing drawbar, pivotally connected for vertical movement, is connected to the steerable front wheel. The cart is tipped up to reorient the cylinder holding rack vertically, in which position the drawbar length contacts the ground to act as a prop, supporting the cart in the reoriented attitude so as to facilitate the transfer of standing gas cylinders into the vertically positioned cylinder holding rack.

Abstract: A wheeled cart for transporting various size massage tables from one place to another which includes an elongated base frame having a front end and an opposite end and a pair of spaced-apart side members defining a storage cavity inbetween and separated by several braces on which a massage table is intended to rest. The front end of the base frame includes a cross-member having a cushion element and the rear end of the base frame includes a U-shaped end intended to capture and retain the rear end of the massage table while the opposite or front end of the massage table bears against the cushion element as it rests on the braces between the side members. A U-shaped handle is pivotally attached on the front end of the base frame. A pair of handle side rods interconnect the U-shaped handle with the pivot connections to the base frame. The handle further includes a cushion member which is intended to bear against the rear end of the massage table.
