  • Patent number: 11682372
Abstract: An effector mounting plate is provided, which can protect wiring when carried while enabling work on the wiring. A back surface side of a plate is covered by a back case, and wiring (not shown) can be stored in a space formed between the plate and the back case. Therefore, when the plate and the back case are used as an effect pedal or carried, an external force can be prevented from acting on the wiring. Therefore, the wiring (jack) can be prevented from falling off an effector or from being forcibly bent and broken. By removing fastening screws, the back case can be removed from the plate to open the back surface side of the plate. Therefore, work on the wiring such as work of connecting/disconnecting the wiring to/from the effector and work of checking the wiring before performance can be easily performed.

Abstract: The hand truck brake provides automatic braking for a hand truck as it negotiates a stairway or other uneven surface. The brake is adaptable to various types of hand trucks, including powered stair-climbing trucks. The brake includes two major assemblies. The first is a reciprocating plunger having a distal roller that travels along the surface. When the roller travels over the nose of a stairway tread, the plunger extends to actuate the brake. The second major assembly is a rotary cam rotated by the plunger as it extends. The cam has an extension and a brake shoe, the brake shoe engaging the underlying surface to stop the hand truck when the cam is rotated to its brake-engaging position. The assembly automatically retracts when the hand truck is oriented vertically. Additional controls are provided for the operator to extend or retract the brake mechanism.

Abstract: A tent bag includes a soft bag body, a base, and at least one wheel. The base has a top side defining a supporting surface, the soft bag body is fixedly connected to and supported on the supporting surface of the base, and the wheel is located adjacent to a first transverse side of the base. With the top side of the base forming a supporting surface for fixedly connecting to and supporting the soft bag body thereon and with the wheel located adjacent to the transverse side of the base, the tent bag has good mobility and can be conveniently and effortlessly transported. Further, since the bottom of the soft bag body is supported on the base, it would not become collapsed downward even under the weight of a folded tent received therein, and therefore would not frictionally contact with the ground when the tent bag is being pulled.

Abstract: The miniature ski tote of the disclosed invention is characterized by a carriage body, wheel and strap or other means to removably bind the carriage body to a pair of skis disposed in bottom-to-bottom relationship. The carriage has a bottom, sides and a rear together forming a channel open to the front and top of the carriage body. The channel is configured to receive the front or rear portion of side edges of the of a pair of skis which are disposed in bottom-to-bottom relationship to one another. A strap or other binding means is used to removably bind the carriage body to the skis. A wheel projects rearwardly and downwardly of the carriage body when the front of carriage body is angled upwardly, enabling a pair of skis engaged therewith to be transported by rolling the end to which the carriage is attached.

Abstract: A multi-function cart for storing and transporting emergency or other supplies. The multi-function cart comprises a shell and lid or two shells that can be secured together to form a transportable storage container. When separated, each shell is convertible into various configurations that can be used to sustain life during and after a disaster as well as to clean up and rebuild after a disaster has occurred. In this manner, the multi-function cart enables victims to quickly care for themselves, and encourages victims to immediately begin the clean-up and rebuilding process. The multi-function cart can also be used recreationally. Each shell is convertible into different configurations using various tubes. Hub brackets on opposing sides of the shell include adapters to which any of the tubes can be connected. The tubes can be connected to the adapters in an upward or a downward orientation to form different configurations.
