Abstract: An agricultural machine, comprising a pair of from wheels and a pair of rear wheels, rigidly connected to a main frame, a control cab mounted on the main frame and suspension means placed between the cab and the main frame. Suspension means comprise a plurality of actuators for controlling the rotation of the cab with respect to the main frame about at least two axis orthogonal to each other. An electronic control unit is provided with sensor means for detecting variations of the cab tilt angle with respect to an horizontal reference direction. The electronic control unit is programmed for controlling said actuators so as to maintain a constant orientation of the cab with respect to said reference direction.
Abstract: A vehicle, for driving over a ground surface, has a body with a left side, a right side, a front and a back. The vehicle includes left and right drive mechanisms. Each mechanism includes first and second traction elements for engaging the ground surface and transmitting a driving force between the vehicle and ground surface. Each mechanism includes first and second arms coupled to the first and second traction elements for relative rotation about first and second axis respectively. Each mechanism includes a rotor having a third axis, the rotor coupled to the body for rotation about the third axis and coupled to the first and second arms for relative rotation about the third axis. The mechanism includes first and second drive motors for driving the first and second traction elements and first and second transmissions, driven by the first and second motors and engaging the rotor. Driving the first and second traction elements simultaneously rotates the rotor relative to the first and second arms, respectively.
Abstract: A height control valve is preferably adapted to be mounted in a trailing arm suspension and fluidly interconnected to a source of pressurized air and to an air spring. The height control valve comprises a housing having a cylindrical bore, a supply port, an exhaust port and an air spring port each of which extends through the housing and fluidly communicates with the bore. A rotor is preferably rotatably mounted in the bore and interconnected to the arm wherein pivotal movement of the arm rotates the rotor with respect to the housing between first, second and third rotational positions.
Abstract: An independent vehicle suspension in which the height change which can be made while the vehicle is stationary is limited so as to prevent the system from having to make too great an associated track change. This prevents the system from becoming locked during a height change due to stiction between the wheels and ground which opposes the track change. The height change is completed when the vehicle is detected as starting to move.

Abstract: A tilting apparatus for tilting a body (4) of a vehicle, the apparatus being disposed in a bogie underframe, and secondary suspensions (3) being disposed under the body (4) of the vehicle, the tilting apparatus being characterized in that it includes first and second tilt-control actuators (1, 2) disposed rigidly and vertically in the bogie, the secondary suspensions (3) lying under the body (4) of the vehicle and on the tilt-control actuators (1, 2), a re-centering actuator (5) secured via one of its ends to the bogie underframe (6) and via its other end to the body (4) of the vehicle, and an anti-roll bar (7) disposed under the body (4), the tilting apparatus being provided neither with an inclination cross-member, nor with cross-member suspension connection rods.
