The stroller portion includes a seat secured to a metal frame, and the shopping cart portion comprises a collapsible receptacle. The receptacle can be oriented in two orientations, a stowed orientation adjacent the seat and a deployed orientation over the seat. When the receptacle is deployed, it conforms to the seat, creating a shopping cart from the stroller.

Abstract: A convertible trailer for towing behind a bicycle, the trailer being convertible between a trailer and a stroller. The trailer possesses a chassis frame, comprising a generally rectangular outer frame member having a front frame member, a rear frame member, and two side frame members. A tow bar is pivotally mounted to the trailer, pivotal between a towing position extending forwardly of the chassis frame, and a stroller position extending upwardly of the chassis frame. Releasible securement means is further provided for securing the tow bar in the towing position and in the stroller position. A second pair of wheels are pivotably mounted on the chassis frame. Each are pivotable between a retracted position when the tow bar is in the towing position, and an extended position forward of the first pair of wheels for travel on the ground when the tow bar is in the stroller position.

Consequently, the baby carriage is released from the locked opened state.

The carriage further includes a drive mechanism for relocating the leg members between a retracted position and an extended position, and a biasing mechanism, connected to the drive mechanism, for driving the leg members to the retracted position. The drive mechanism loads the biasing mechanism when the leg members are driven to the extended position. There is also a mechanism locking the leg members in the extended position to inhibit retraction by the biasing mechanism.

The chair back reclines with respect to the chair bottom to convert the stroller into a carriage. Modifications of the wheel frame allow the infant seat to be converted into an infant rocker. Abstract: A collapsible infant seat and stroller includes a central frame support having straps so that the frame may be carried as a backpack. A lower part of the frame includes wheels which may be moved between a first inactive position and a second active position. A handle-bar is provided which is pivotably attached to the upper part of the frame so that it may be positioned in a folded position, so that its length is adjacent the length of the frame, and a handle-bar position so that the frame may be pushed along the ground by means of the wheels. A seat is provided which is supported by a seat support member which is pivotably fixed to the upper part of the frame so that the seat may be positioned in an active position and an inactive position. A stabilizing leg is also provided so that the device may be used as a stationary seat.
