Body Thill Mounted Patents (Class 280/68)
  • Patent number: 7578510
Abstract: A sulky includes a frame and a first and second wheel supports. The first wheel support extends along a first axis and is rotatably coupled to the frame about the first axis. The second wheel support extends along a second axis and is rotatably coupled to the frame about the second axis. First and second pedals are operatively coupled to the frame and to the first and second wheel supports, respectively. The first and second pedals are moveable relative to the frame for rotating the first wheel support about the first axis and for rotating the second wheel support about the second axis. A linkage operatively couples the first and second wheel supports for transferring movement of one of the first and second pedals to both of the first and second wheel supports to rotate the first and second wheel supports in unison respectively about the first and second axes.

  • Patent number: 5201898
Abstract: A vehicle suspension adjustment mechanism comprises pairs of plates having mutually complementary annular ribs and grooves for mutual interengagement to facilitate rotation of the pairs of plates with respect to each other. One of the pair has an enlarged semicircular aperture and the other of the pair has a smaller circular aperture of the same diameter as the trailing arm pivot bolt. The alignment position of the trailing arm relative to the vehicle frame is adjusted by rotating one of the plates relative to another of the plates.

  • Patent number: 4817975
Abstract: There is disclosed in one aspect, a self-aligning sulky with independently pivotable wheels which may be pivoted through a full 360 degree rotation. The pivotable wheels provide a sulky that provides less rolling resistance and greater resistance to tipping. In another aspect, the racing sulky is provided with steering means to alter the orientation of at least one of said wheels relative to the frame of said sulky. In yet another aspect, a suspension means for the wheels is provided.
