Abstract: A laundry cart and methods for using it are described herein. The laundry cart has the ability to dump laundry from its shelves to the bottom surface of the laundry cart via rotatable shelves, eliminating the need to remove laundry from each shelf. In addition, the rotatable nature of the shelves allows the shelves to effectively close the laundry cart for effective transportation of laundry, minimizing spillage of laundry out of the laundry cart during transit.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a workstation and a technique to automatically configure the workstation. The workstation can be used to perform various tasks including but not limited to medication delivery, collection of medical records, patient care, manufacturing operations, and others. The workstation can be configured by the user depending on the tasks to be performed using the workstation. Various sensors (e.g., hall effect sensors, optical sensors, or the like) can be coupled to the workstation, and sensor operators (e.g., magnets, color coded strips, or the like) can be coupled to the modules. By aligning sensor operators with sensors when modules are coupled to the workstation, a configuration (e.g., size, shape, location, or the like) of modules can be automatically detected by the workstation controller. The controller of the workstation can then adapt to perform certain tasks (e.g., lock/unlock drawers, or the like) depending on the detected configuration of modules.

The waste bin carrier (100) includes a frame (110) having a base (130) for receiving thereon one waste bin (200) or more. The waste bin carrier (100) also has a locking mechanism (120) movably attached to the frame (110) for releasably securing at least one waste bin (200) to the waste bin carrier (100). The locking mechanism (120) has a pusher guide (121) that extends in a first horizontal Cartesian dimension (X) for lateral engagement with the waste bin (200). The configuration of the wheel bracket may result in higher shock absorption and reduced wheel noise comparative to conventional wheel brackets, and offer an improvement and alternative to conventional luggage wheel brackets.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transporting an object on a carriage in tandem with a wheeled case are presented. A carriage in one embodiment includes a generally planar platform supported by one or more rolling members, a fence strap for holding the seat against a fence that extends upwardly from the platform, and an anchor strap connecting the seat to the wheeled case. The carriage may be used to transport any object or seat, such as a child safety seat. In another embodiment, the platform includes a leading section connected to a trailing section. The trailing section may include an opening that is sized shaped to receive at least a portion of the rolling members therethrough when the two sections are folded together.

The cart includes at least a pair of cap doors at opposite ends of the cart, each cap door pivoting approximately 270 degrees to bear against a side of the cart, and a plurality of guides on inner walls of the multi-compartment for retaining the standard airline meal carriers. To prevent the doors of the cart from inadvertently opening, the cart also may include a redundant paddle latch system for each door.

In this manner, the multi-function cart enables victims to quickly care for themselves, and encourages victims to immediately begin the clean-up and rebuilding process. The multi-function cart can also be used recreationally. Each shell is convertible into different configurations using various tubes. Hub brackets on opposing sides of the shell include adapters to which any of the tubes can be connected. The tubes can be connected to the adapters in an upward or a downward orientation to form different configurations.

The body has a paint containment area and a rolling surface. The painter may easily replenish fresh paint on the paint roller and roll the paint roller to obtain a desired quantity and uniformity of coverage on the paint roller. The bucket permits the painter to paint a large area, along a great distance, while remaining standing straight. This eliminates the conventional need for the painter to manually move their supply of fresh paint which often involves bending or squatting.
