Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing programs executable by a controller that causes a print execution device to execute printing is provided. The print execution device includes: a print head provided with nozzles aligned in a sub scanning direction; a holding member which holds a part of a printing medium conveyed in the sub scanning direction; and a head driving device which causes the print head to execute a main scanning operation. The programs cause the controller to execute: a first acquiring process for acquiring first object data which represents a first object image to be printed on a first sticky note; a generating process for generating printing data for the print execution device to execute the printing of the first object image on the first sticky note by utilizing the first object data; and a supply process for supplying the printing data to the print execution device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to produce a books in which interior staples are hidden. One disclosed example apparatus includes a sensor to detect a position of a book being produced on a binding line. The example book includes signatures coupled by a fastener. The fastener separates a first signature portion from a second signature portion of a first signature. The example apparatus also includes an adhesive dispenser to dispense adhesive to at least one of on or adjacent the fastener to couple the first signature portion and the second signature portion along a first fold adjacent the fastener. The example apparatus also includes a controller to cause the adhesive dispenser to dispense adhesive based on the position of the book detected by the sensor.

Abstract: An adhesive application device that applies an adhesive onto each of sequentially conveyed paper sheets, includes: a device frame; a bonding member that delivers the adhesive for bonding the paper sheets to each other; a plurality of bonding units that is arranged in a sheet width direction and each has the bonding member; a support member that supports the bonding units on the device frame so as to be movable between a bonding position at which each bonding unit presses its bonding member to apply the adhesive onto the paper sheet and a separated position separated from the bonding position; and a moving member that moves the plurality of bonding units to the bonding position with timing shifted. Thus, it is possible to move the bonding units with a smaller drive force than in a case where the bonding units are moved simultaneously.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a sheet binding apparatus comprises a pasting section and a control section. The pasting section is capable of selectively carrying out pasting processing on at least one of a plurality of different given pasting target areas on sheets to be pasted. The control section controls the execution of the pasting processing based on the pasting section so that pasting target areas of a first sheet and a second sheet other than the first sheet within a plurality of sheets to be subjected to binding processing are different.

Abstract: An inside leaflet of a book is provided which is bond-bound with pages of the book to provide an advertisement. The inside leaflet includes an advertisement printed part and a binding part. Catchphrases or illustrations for advertisement are printed on at least one side of the advertisement printed part. The binding part is configured to be bound with the pages along an edge of the inside leaflet such that the binding part has less binding portions than those of the pages in order to leave no traces or marks when the inside leaflet is detached from the book. Accordingly, since the inside leaflet is able to be bound to pages of various kinds of books and easily removed from the books without leaving any traces or marks in the books, the inside leaflet contributes to extension of the application range of advertisements and improvement of advertisement efficiency.

Abstract: An information page (1) of a security document, includes: an information part (3), on the upper or lower surface of which part of the information recorded on the information page (1) can be seen; and a flexible connecting part (2) with good bending strength for attaching the information page (1) to a security document. To ensure that detaching the information part and the connecting part from each other leaves visible marks, the connecting part (2) has a netlike structure, and the connecting part (2) is arranged to penetrate into the information part (3) in the immediate vicinity of the upper or lower surface of the information part.

The front of each interior page (16) consists of a mounting area (24) that contains a plurality of adhesive strips (28). Each strip (28) is comprised of a release liner (30) and an underlying adhesive (32). Receipts (34a) may be attached to the underlying adhesives (32) by removing the liners (30) and pressing the receipt (34b) onto the exposed adhesives (32). Abstract: A carbonless form is provided that may be folded selectively into a duplicating state or a non-duplicating state. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a carbonless form is provided comprising a form sheet, a transverse fold line, an assigned data entry portion, and an exposed data entry portion. The form sheet defines a front face, a rear face, a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of side edges. The transverse fold line extends across the form sheet to define a first panel and a second panel on opposite sides of the transverse fold line. The assigned data entry portion is defined on the rear face of the second panel. The exposed data entry portion is defined on the front face of the first panel. A CB coating is applied to the rear face of the form sheet in the first panel and a CF coating is applied to the rear face of the form sheet in the second panel.

Abstract: A reinforced book assembled from a stack of media sheets and a cover. Each media sheet includes at least one binding region located adjacent to a binding edge of that media sheet. The binding region of each sheet is aligned with and faces a binding region of an adjacent media sheet. The cover extends at least partially over a first face of the stack, wraps around the binding edges of the media sheets, and extends at least partially over a second face of the stack. The book also includes activated imaging material on the binding region of each media sheet binding the media sheets together as well as activated imaging material on the cover binding the cover to the binding regions on the first and second faces of the stack.

Abstract: A CD carrier is disclosed and comprises a single paperboard sheet having a plurality of hinge lines dividing the sheet into a plurality of panels, with each of the panels having first and second faces corresponding to first and second faces of the sheet. The CD carrier further comprises a first panel and a second panel which fold to form a pocket sized to receive a CD. Third, fourth and fifth panels are provided. A tear away strip is defined in part by cooperating frangible connections on each of the third and fourth panels.

Abstract: A business form or mailer intermediate providing fold-over carbonless imaging is provided. The form or mailer includes separate CB and CF coating portions on a single sheet. When the form or mailer is folded about a fold line, the CB portion comes in contact with the CF portion. An image is created when the fold-over carbonless area is subjected to an imaging force.

Abstract: A printer note construction consisting of repositionable adhesive coated (discontinuously) substrates removably affixed onto a backsheet, such that the construction can pass through a personal computer printer without damage to the printer or to the article (wrinkling, tearing, folding, releasing, etc.). Typically, this construction would be pre-assembled and packaged in a manner similar to point of sale label stock. Alternatively, a preprinted backsheet template wherein, repositionable notes (such as Post-it.RTM. brand notes) from a typical pad of notes, are aligned with the template markings and then run through a personal computer printer.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for binding booklets using pressure seal adhesive patterns. Paper sheets having adhesive strips along their centerfold lines are assembled and folded together. A pressure sealing device activates the adhesive strips and causes the adhesive to bind the folded sheets together into a booklet. The adhesive strips are arranged on the sheets parallel on both sides of the centerfold line of the sheet. The sheets are assembled so that adhesive strips are juxtaposed against the adhesive strips on adjacent sheets. The assembly is folded and a pressure sealer device seals the adhesive strips together to bind the sheets into a booklet.

Abstract: A hinge system for an album, such as a photograph album, includes a plurality of leafs each having a backing layer. The backing layer of each album leaf is folded along its inner edge to form interlocking portions which engage corresponding portions on adjacent leafs to interconnect the leafs. An album cover assembly includes a bracket along the spine of the album for retaining at least one of the interlocking portions to hold the interconnected leafs in the album. The hinge system relies upon the elements formed by folding the backing layer of the album leafs and eliminates the need for additional binding or hinge elements, such as wires, posts or rods that add to the cost and complexity of the album leafs.

Abstract: A pad of regular hexagonal flexible sheets each having a front surface adapted to be written on, and a coating of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive over a portion of its rear surface releasably adhering the sheet to an underlying sheet in the pad. Information can be written on the front surfaces of the sheets, and the individual written on sheets can be adhered to a planar surface in side by side relationship with edge portions of up to six adjacent sheets in contact to represent relationships between the information on the sheets.

Abstract: Apparatus for wall mounting a presentation board comprises a wall mounted support bracket, a hook shaped mounting member for detachably and pivotably engaging the support bracket, and an angled support member connecting the mounting member to the presentation board such that the board is supportable in an inclined position with respect to the mounting wall. Further apparatus is provided for mounting a bound presentation pad to the board in an orientation such that the unbound ends of a pad sheet are releasably retained against unintended displacement but successive sheets may be exposed by releasing covering sheets and allowing the released sheet to hang down from the bound ends.

Abstract: This invention relates to a flexibly and permanently interlocked manifold assembly of superimposed sheets or webs, and the method and apparatus for producing this assembly, wherein the superimposed sheets of the assembly are fastened by a stress-relieving means composed of crimps formed in one exterior sheet of said assembly and any intermediate sheets thereof; the crimps being formed in registry and the terminal margins thereof having an adhesive coated thereon and attached to the interior surface of the opposing exterior sheet of the said assembly.
