Abstract: A tablet that is suitable for use underwater or in any extreme environment is provided. The tablet is designed, through the use of buoyant materials such as polystyrene, to have a slightly negative buoyancy at a depth of about fifty feet so that it can be very easy to manipulate underwater and will not sink or ascend rapidly if let go. A length of waterproof (plastic) vellum is stretched between two rollers to form a drawing or writing surface thereby enabling the user to easily record information on the vellum.
Abstract: A business card assembly having a standard wallet-sized card with top and bottom surfaces. Business card identification information is printed on the top surface. The labels may be peeled off and placed, for example, in one's personal planner, file, or other convenient location. The card may be a traditional flat style, or a tent style. The card may also include a release liner beneath the removable labels, the release liner also optionally including additional printed information.
Abstract: The wrist note pad has an elongated housing having its respective ends pivotally connected to the opposite ends of a wrist fastening band. Within the housing is a scrolled paper roll journaled adjacent its one end and a take-up roll shaft journaled adjacent its opposite end. A rewind knob and a paper feed knob are both positioned outside of the housing and are connected to the respective scrolled paper roll and take-up roll shaft positioned within the housing. A writing surface cover is attached by a hinge to the top surface of the wrist note pad and it has a pair of longitudinally spaced laterally extending slots therein through which the scrolled paper would be threaded to provide a writing surface atop the cover.
Abstract: A direct reading book having a housing which will contain mounting means for a roll of printed web and a magnifying lens suitably carried above and in a constant predetermined position above the printed web is described. The printing on the print web is caused to move past the magnifying lens to permit the reader to read the printing on the web passing under the lens. The direct reader permits the replacement of a series of books, such as textbooks, with a series of printed webs, relieving the burden of carrying a large number of books.
Abstract: A negative film handling method and apparatus in which negative films to be printed are inserted into negative film carrier sheets and the film sheets are attached side-by-side on a conveyor flexible transparent belt. Negative film inserting and removing openings provided in the film sheets are aligned with one another perpendicular to the inserting and removing direction. The negative film inserting and removing openings are opened by bending an edge portion of the flexible transparent belt.
Abstract: A compact note scroll includes a base on which a pair of rotatably mounted shafts carry an elongated strip of paper, an intermediate portion of which is accessible for writing thereon through a window aperture in a case which covers the base. The case has a wrist strap and the device may be worn on the wrist in the manner of a wrist watch. The shafts may be manually rotated to advance fresh portions of the strip of paper successively into registry with the window aperture.
