Abstract: A pipe connector includes a housing body defining an axial bore arranged to receive a length of pipe. A plurality of sealing members is positionable in a stacked configuration within the axial bore. The sealing members define a first opening through which the length of pipe can pass and are arranged to form a seal between the length of pipe and the housing body. A locking member is positionable in the axial bore above the sealing members. The locking member defines a second opening. The length of pipe is movable through the second opening in a first direction and the locking member engages the length of pipe when the pipe is forced in a second direction opposite the first direction to form a one-way stop.

  • Patent number: 8646813
Abstract: An exemplary connector assembly includes an elongated body with an internal passage for a conduit or cables. A body aperture region with a body fastener aperture is set between two elongated slots. The body aperture region may radially bulge out from the body, and may alternatively or additionally include an aperture flange protruding from the body aperture region. A U-shaped connector clip includes two parallel teeth that are inserted in the two slots, and a clip body having a clip fastener aperture. A fastener is inserted through the fastener apertures, securing the connector clip to the body. A fastening clip secures the fastener to the connector clip and keeps the connector clip from falling back into the slots as the connector clip is being disengaged from the body. Each clip tooth includes an engaging end that is complementarily interfittable with grooves in the conduit, keeping the conduit in place.

  • Patent number: 8607421
Abstract: A clamp fitting (1) for a hose end (80) is described which employs a hose clamp (2) and at least one support element (4). The support element (4) includes a substantially U-shaped section in which the hose source (2) is held. An extension section (10) is located at this U-shaped section, said extension section including at least one engagement element (14, 15). The end of the at least one engagement element (14, 15) has sharp edges. The ends can also be designed in pointed fashion. If the clamp fitting is attached to a hose, the engagement elements penetrate the hose by way of these ends. This arrangement prevents further slipping of the clamp fitting attached to the hose.

Abstract: Plug connection arrangement for connecting a first hollow body, such as a pipe socket, to a second hollow body, such as a hose, by means of a clip. The first hollow body has a pre-assembly portion, on which the clip can be pre-assembled in a pre-assembly position. The first hollow body has a final assembly portion to which the clip is secured in a final assembly position. The pre-assembly portion and the final assembly portion are offset in the peripheral direction of the first hollow body, so that the clip can be transferred from the pre-assembly position into the final assembly position by twisting relative to the first hollow body.

Abstract: A crimp sleeve includes a cylindrical side wall having a plurality of slots cut therein to form a plurality of fingers. Each finger includes a shank and an inwardly extending tab. The shanks of the fingers are formed at an inward angle relative to the sleeve wall. The tips of the tabs define a tip diameter which forms an interference fit with the nipple on which the sleeve is to be installed. The interference fit between the tabs and the nipple allows the sleeve to be pre-loaded on the nipple. When the end of a length of tubing is inserted in the sleeve, the tubing will contact the shanks of the fingers and urge the fingers outwardly, increasing the tip diameter.
