Abstract: A positioning assembly of a hand rivet nut tool has a rotating sleeve, a mandrel and a positioning ring. The rotating sleeve has a mounting groove formed around an inner surface of the rotating sleeve. The mandrel is mounted through the rotating sleeve and has a positioning groove formed around an outer surface of the mandrel. The positioning ring is mounted in and around the mounting groove of the rotating sleeve and the positioning groove of the mandrel. The mandrel is stably held by the positioning ring in a specific position, so the hand rivet nut tool is able to stably rivet a rivet nut on a work piece. The hand rivet nut tool with the positioning assembly has simplified and optimized positioning effect, and reduced assembling time and cost.

Abstract: A rivet tool capable of measuring size of blind rivet has a body and multiple interchangeable nosepieces. The body further has multiple rivet body measuring holes formed through the body. Diameters of the rivet body measuring holes match rivet bodies of corresponding blind rivets. Accordingly, the rivet tool of the present invention employs the rivet body measuring holes to measure a size of a rivet body of a blind rivet to rapidly, conveniently and correctly obtain a size of a rivet body of a blind rivet and further to correctly choose a nosepiece with a matching size.
Abstract: The device comprises a robot (1) provided with a head (3) which comprises a plurality of single-function modules, each of them with the function of carrying out different and consecutive operations on the working zone of the pieces to rivet or fasten. The robot can be a precise articulated robot, a Cartesian machine, a parallel kinematics robot or other, while said modules can be located transversally, longitudinally or in a matrix in the head. The method provides operations for drilling, reaming and countersinking of different diameters, quality control of drill-holes, thickness checking of pieces, application of sealant, selection and supply of rivet, fastener or pin to rivet or fasten, fitting of the rivet, fastener or pin, riveting and/or fastening, fitting checking of the rivet, fastener or pin, cleaning, adjustment and checking of the aerodynamic tolerance.

Abstract: A universal offset pulling head assembly for exerting an axial pulling force on a fastener allows the same pulling head assembly to be utilized for a variety of different fastener sizes and types by exchanging a front plate assembly, where the front plate assembly may comprise variable nose pieces according to the type of fastener to be installed. Because the front plate assembly is subject to the most severe wear, other components of the pulling head assembly may continue to be utilized and the front plate assembly discarded. The disclosed pulling head assembly utilizes a stationary guiding member which prevents damage which might otherwise occur because of severe bending moments.
Abstract: A flexible extension device that can be mounted between a fastener installation tool and a pulling head. The device can flex over a range up to about 45 degrees and can operate under tensile and compressive loads required for installing fasteners. It includes adapters that can mate with a desired type of installation tool and pulling head.
Abstract: An apparatus for forming a double-segment overlapping gasket material for the mounting cup of an aerosol container comprising a punch mounted on a reciprocating ram having a central opening for the body of the mounting cup and a nose portion adapted to extend within the channel portion of the mounting cup, said nose portion having a specific shape and the punch having a shoulder in the inside diameter of the punch to urge the gasket material disposed on the body portion of the cup into the channel portion, whereat upon the bottoming of the punch against the gasket, a fold line is formed in the gasket which results in the formation of the overlapping double-segment gasket.

Abstract: A dual function adjustable hand tool including a head device having a hollow and a room. The hollow is coupled to the room and threaded on one side to screw with a pull-over member. The room further includes a leverage system. An adjusting device is placed between the lead device and the lower handle, and has at least one wheel that includes a hole, with a connecting shaft passing through it and a hole with a connecting rod passing through it. One side of the connecting rod couples to the second side of the leverage and the other side of the connecting rod screws to a sleeve which is coupled to the upper handle by a pin. The device further includes, a concavity and a wave spring; a setting device having a connecting nut, a setting rod and a setting nut wherein the connecting nut is screwed with the setting rod; and an assembly device including a connecting sleeve and a connecting device.
