    Abstract: A removal tool configured for removing an insertable engine component from an engine assembly. In the removal tool may include a coupling device, a drive member, and a lifting member attached to a main shaft. The coupling device is mounted onto a retainer securing an engine component, and the lifting member is positioned against the underside of a flange of the engine component. A rotational force applied against the drive member is transferred to the coupling device and causes the retainer to be unscrewed. As the retainer is unscrewed, this causes a lifting force from the retainer pushing against the coupling device, which causes the lifting member to be pushed upward, and further causing the engine component to be pushed upward and away from the engine assembly. This facilitates removal of the engine component concurrently with the removal of the retainer (e.g., in a single operation).

A nut removal facilitator device comprises a first arm with a holder component, wherein the first arm is attached to a lever component and a second arm, which includes a force applicator component. A socket of a wrench is placed on a desired nut, with the wrench handle portion near the socket held within the holder component and an end portion of the wrench handle in contact with the force applicator component. A force can be received at the top portion of the lever component is leveraged based on the length of the lever component. The leveraged force is transferred to the force applicator component which applies the transferred force to the wrench handle to move the handle and socket in the desired direction to loosen and remove the nut.

    Abstract: A cutting tool key is suitable for mounting and extracting a cutting insert into and from an insert receiving slot of a cutting tool holder blade. The key includes an elongated protrusion having first and second engagement portions with a pivot axis formed in the first engagement portion. The insert receiving slot has a holder axis extending in a forward-to-rearward direction, and a clamping-jaw surface facing a base-jaw surface. The base jaw surface has a holder-passage opening out to the holder's side surfaces, and the insert has an insert-passage opening out to the insert's lateral surfaces. The first and second engagement portions engage the holder-passage and insert-passage, respectively, with the pivot axis in the holder-passage. Rotating the key in an extraction direction about the pivot axis applies extraction-force on the insert. Rotating the key in a mounting direction, opposite to the extraction direction, applies a mounting-force on the insert.

    Abstract: A positive displacement sorter includes a plurality of parallel laterally extending slats and a pair of wheel assemblies, each interconnecting common end portions of the slats thereby defining an endless web that travels in a longitudinal direction. An upper surface of the web defines an article-conveying surface. A plurality of pusher shoes travel along the slats in order to laterally displace articles on the conveying surface. A plurality of attachment mechanisms are provided. Each of the attachment mechanisms attaches an end portion of one of the slats to one of the wheel assemblies. Each of the attachment mechanisms includes a shoulder and a collar and at least one locking member. The collar engages the shoulder thereby providing retention of the slat to the wheel assembly. The locking member provides retention of the collar on the shoulder.

    Abstract: A hand tool for inserting a large variety of connector components into narrow plastic irrigation piping is disclosed. This tool is an improved and progressive development of my previous Israeli patent no: 152089 in that it is designed to work with a large variety of connector components and is designed to accommodate both sizes of narrow spaghetti piping, whereas the previous patent could accommodate only a single size of narrow piping. The tool as shown in FIG. 2 has a body onto which all the elements are connected and the body is configured to sit comfortably in the palm of the hand. When pressing down on the handle, the grips secure the narrow piping and cause a connector component, deployed in appropriate recess provided in the tool to be easily inserted into the narrow piping.
