Abstract: A modular convertible tactical sling system for a firearm or other item. The sling system includes a primary strap, a hub mount attachment, and at least two secondary straps. The configuration of the primary strap, the hub mount attachment, and the at least two secondary straps can provide for either a single point attachment to a firearm or a two point attachment to a firearm.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for a driven loadable construct, the apparatus, system and method utilizing a construct, at least one rotatable wheel mounted for enabling the construct to roll along a surface, at least one motor and power source coupled to the construct to be used to impart rotational energy to the at least one rotatable wheel, and a controller to control the signals for operation of the at least one rotatable wheel which moves the construct.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for illumination and/or providing an aesthetically pleasing lighted structure can include a hollow core with a plurality of cover panels mounted radially thereto. In at least one implementation, a lighting fixture can incorporate a lighted core and lighted or unlighted elements surrounding the lighted core. Furthermore, the lighted core can house lighting elements, while providing substantially unimpeded access thereto.

Abstract: A vacuum system for removing rubbish generated during fastening operations is provided. The vacuum system includes a fastening tool for driving the fastener, a suction nozzle attached to the fastening tool and a vacuum source in fluid communication with the suction nozzle. The vacuum system also includes a sensor to detect the position of the fastening tool and a vacuum valve actuator to selectively open or close a vacuum valve to provide vacuum to the suction nozzle according to the position of the fastening tool.

Abstract: An emergency escape slide container includes a first portion having a first end wall and a first side wall, the first side wall and the first end wall defining a first storage space that is sized and shaped to receive an emergency escape slide. The first side wall also includes a first rolling mechanism. The emergency escape slide container also includes a second portion having a second end wall and a second side wall, the second side wall and the second end wall defining a second storage space sized and shaped to receive the emergency escape slide. The second side wall also includes a second rolling mechanism. The first portion and the second portion cooperate to define a third storage space therebetween, the third storage space being equal to a combination of the first storage space and the second storage space.

Abstract: An agricultural machine is disclosed. The agricultural machine includes a frame including a first axle on a first side of the frame and a second axle on a second side of the frame; and a bogie axle pivotably mounted on each of the first and second axles of the frame. Each bogie axle includes a body with a front axle disposed at a front end of the body and a rear axle disposed at a rear end of the body. A front tire is mounted on the front axle of each bogie axle and a rear tire is mounted on the rear axle of each bogie axle. The front tire is a different size than the rear tire.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a rechargeable base station system having a base station connected to a DIN rail assembly. The base station has a base featuring side walls, and a receiving unit rotatably connected to the side walls. The receiving unit has an opened end configured to receive a rechargeable device, and at least one electrical contact which contacts the rechargeable device so as to charge the rechargeable device. The DIN rail assembly has power connection elements that provide power from a power source to the base station when the base station is attached to the DIN rail assembly. The base station can include a battery which provides power to charge the rechargeable device when power from the power source is interrupted. Multiple base stations can be connected to the DIN rail assembly thereby allowing for multiple rechargeable devices to be charged from a single DIN rail assembly.

Abstract: A method for converting a wrapping machine into a transport condition, said wrapping machine comprising a wrapping machine frame, as well as a circular guide mounted on the frame, whereby, in order to convert the wrapping machine into a transport condition, the circular guide mounted on the wrapping machine frame is tilted with respect to the wrapping machine frame. The invention relates also to such a wrapping machine.

Abstract: An energy recovery apparatus for use in a refrigeration system, comprises an intake port, a nozzle, a turbine and a discharge port. The intake port is adapted to be in fluid communication with a condenser of a refrigeration system. The nozzle comprises a necked-down region and a tube portion. The nozzle is configured to expand refrigerant discharged from the condenser and increase velocity of the refrigerant as it passes through the nozzle. The turbine is positioned relative to the nozzle and configured to be driven by refrigerant discharged from the nozzle. The discharge port is downstream of the turbine and is configured to be in fluid communication with an evaporator of the refrigeration system.

Abstract: A system is provided for refitting a tire system on a four-wheel-drive compact tractor which typically comes equipped with a set of industrial tires mounted on standard industrial size wheels. The tractor has a frame size falling within an industry classification of extra large frame, large frame, mid-frame or small frame. A set of replacement agricultural tires or turf tires is provided. The industrial tires are replaced with the replacement agricultural tires or turf tires without changing at least the front wheels on the compact tractor. The replacement tires are selected so as to maintain a front tire overspeed within manufacturer specified ranges for the majority of tractors falling within the industry classification.

A slideably removable cartridge securely holds a single serve filter cup in place to allow the grinder discharge to fill the single serve filter cup. Conversions of grinders to allow filling of single serve filter cups is provided by interchanging the usual grinder discharge bin with the removable cartridge filter holder.

A pre-cut infeed system may include an infeed, one or more saws arranged along the infeed, and a scanner optimizer system. The scanner optimizer system may scan a workpiece and determine whether greater value can be obtained from the workpiece by cutting the workpiece transversely into two or more pieces upstream of the machine center. If so, the workpiece may be cut transversely by the saw(s) positioned along the infeed, and the cut pieces may be fed sequentially into the machine center.

Abstract: A kit for converting a climbing tree stand into a cart includes a bracket having a first side and a second side. The first side is shaped to attach to a top part of a climbing tree stand. The second side is shaped to attach to a bottom part of the climbing tree stand. At least one wheel with an axle is positioned on the bracket. The bracket converts the climbing tree stand into a cart by attaching the top part of the climbing tree stand to the first side and attaching the bottom part of the climbing tree stand to the second side.

The sealing plate may be releasably coupled to an upper sealing tool part, and the sealing frame may be slidably removable at a lower sealing tool part. The sealing frame may be slidable on rails. The sealing frame may include one or more centering aids for aligning the sealing plate with respect to said sealing frame during removal thereof. The cover member is configured to encase or surround a control actuator and to be engaged to the plate member by a coupling device. Abstract: A walker/cane assembly, multi-legged cane, and single-pointed cane may share common parts that may be easily connected and detached to allow a user to convert a walker/cane assembly to a multi-legged cane and/or a single-pointed cane. Accordingly, a user may use a single assembly that may be quickly and easily modified to meet the user's needs, such as his/her current balance or energy level. One or more folding mechanisms may be employed to allow the walker/cane assembly, or the frame forming a portion of the walker/cane assembly, to be easily collapsed and folded. A method for securing a step stool includes the steps of moving the notches of a step against a crossbar of a rear rail assembly pivotally connected to a front rail assembly of the step stool.

In one embodiment, a stepladder is provided that comprises a first assembly hingedly coupled with a second assembly. The first assembly has a pair of spaced apart rails pivotally coupled with one or more rungs. The second assembly includes a pair of space apart rails with one or more bracing members extending therebetween. The first assembly and second assembly are configured to be displaced relative one another such that the stepladder is selectively positionable between a first, deployed state and a second, collapsed state. Abstract: The invention is directed to a digital microform reader that has a form carrier. A light projection system projects light onto the form carrier. A digital imaging system images a portion of the form carrier. A computer communication data interface system receives an electronic image from the digital imaging system, wherein the digital microform reader does not contain a viewer. A light diffusion sheet may be used with a condenser lens of the light projection system. The digital imaging system includes a CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) detector. CMOS detectors are able to capture an image much faster than CCD (Charge Coupled Device) detectors. Because the system does not have a separate viewer it is much less expensive than prior art systems. The system also uses less energy than prior art machines because of its use of light diffusion sheets with the condenser lens and as a background for the microform.

Abstract: An improved apparatus and method are disclosed, for pumping fluids, such as water and/or hydrocarbons, from a subterranean formation or reservoir, through use of a cranked rod pumping (CRP) apparatus for imparting reciprocating substantially vertical motion to a rod of a sucker-rod pump having a pump stroke. The CRP apparatus includes a motor driven cranked mechanical actuator arrangement. The cranked mechanical actuator arrangement includes a substantially vertically moveable member attached to the rod of the sucker-rod pump for imparting and controlling vertical motion of the rod of the sucker-rod pump. The actuator arrangement may include pneumatic counterbalancing.

Abstract: An air contaminant filtration system (10) for a cabin (12) comprising an external air drawing system (14) for drawing air from an atmosphere surrounding the cabin (12), an internal air extraction system (16) for drawing air from an atmosphere within the cabin (12), a main filtration system (18), and a filtered air delivery system (20). Air drawn from the external drawing system (14) and from the internal air extraction system (16) is directed towards the main filtration system (18) for filtration and the filtered air is then directed towards the filtered air delivery system (20) for delivery to the cabin (12).

Abstract: Footwear including removable and replaceable outsole members may include: (a) an upper member; (b) a midsole member, having an exterior surface not designed for performance use in direct contact with the ground, fixedly engaged with the upper member; and (c) an outsole member designed for performance use in contact with the ground removably attached over at least a major portion of the midsole member. The outsole member may attach to the midsole member and/or upper member in a variety of different ways. In use, the wearer may select a specific set of outsole members to use at a given time depending, for example, on the type of play surface, temperature, and/or other conditions. Worn outsole members may be replaced without the expense involved in also replacing the remainder of the footwear.

Abstract: An adjustable mounting assembly for attaching an attachment end of a first beam member to a second beam member. The adjustable mounting assembly includes a first bracket attachable to the first beam member; a second bracket attachable to the second beam member; and a point of attachment where the first and second brackets are attached to each other. Abstract: The invention is directed to a remote controlled shower assembly having an electronically controlled shower head that is controlled by a computerized control unit as well as related methods of installation and use. The assembly can automatically bathe a user by following a program that dictates time of bathing, shower head position and motion, and the dispensing of bathing agents such as body wash or shampoo.

Abstract: A pedestrian and vehicle barrier system is provided for attaching handrails onto vehicle guardrail barriers. The handrail attachment does not to unduly interfere with energy absorbing and/or dissipating features of vehicle guardrail barriers. The system comprises an elongate support post member with a slot at a bottom end, to be slid telescopically over a guardrail support post, and sleeved such that it is substantially restricted from moving laterally and/or rotating relative to the guardrail support post. Movement may be further restricted by fasteners. Handrails or other auxiliary barriers may be attached to a top end of the support post member.

Abstract: A first flipper has a base, a deformable fin connected to the base, and a first spreader that imposes a first force on the fin that causes the fin to spread in response to relative movement between the first spreader and the fin caused by a first longitudinal deflection of the fin relative to the base. A second flipper has a fin and a foot coupling portion connectable to a foot holding portion of a boot to couple a foot in the foot holding portion to the flipper. A first system includes the flipper and the boot. Methods of using the flippers, the boot, and the system are also disclosed.

Abstract: A convertible storage container and methods are provided for the remediation of environmentally damaged articles. The container will define an interior chamber for receiving the environmentally damaged articles therein, the container having at least one container door for closing an access opening into the container. A conversion door is removably positionable with respect to the access opening so as to close the access opening with the container door in an opened condition. The conversion door includes a conversion door panel and a plurality of access ports through the door panel for connection of ducts to permit remediation of the environmentally damaged articles within the interior chamber. In some embodiments, the access ports will comprise flanges to accept connection of a respective duct thereto. The conversion door may include a header assembly to permit vertical height adjustment of the conversion door to fit the conversion door to be fitted with respect to a vertical dimension of the access opening.

Abstract: A training method and apparatus are disclosed. The training method may include converting a firearm capable of firing live ammunition to a pneumatic training device incapable of firing live ammunition. The training method may further include cycling a pneumatic training device through one or more cycles. Each of the cycles may simulate an actual firing of the firearm. Each of the cycles may also include triggering a trigger assembly of the pneumatic training device, using a charge of a pressurized gas to reset the trigger assembly, and advancing a counter of the pneumatic training device. After a certain number of cycles have been completed, a next cycle may be attempted, but not completed. Accordingly, the training method may enable a user to safely and realistically practice reloading, jam or malfunction clearing, or the like.

Abstract: A pile guide for supporting a pile as it is driven into a substrate, comprises: a base frame; and a pile guide member (100) which is mounted on the base frame and defines a passageway with an inner peripheral surface (102) to which a plurality of elongate members (104) are attached. The plurality of elongate members (104) are configured to engage a pile and guide it in a predetermined direction through the passageway as it is driven into a substrate. At least one elongate member (104) and the inner peripheral surface (102) of the passageway have releasable inter-connecting profiles for releasably attaching the at least one elongate member (104) to the inner peripheral surface (102). The at least one elongate member (104) may readily be removed and replaced by a narrower/wider elongate member to accommodate piles of different diameter.

Abstract: Disclosed are handbags constructed using shoe components and shoe production methods. The handbags include a sole with an insole layer, a midsole layer, and an outsole layer. The insole lines the bottom of the interior of the handbag, the outsole lines the bottom of the exterior of the handbag, and the midsole rests in-between the insole and outsole layers. The handbags further include a welt, which is preferably attached to the insole and to the sidewalls of the handbag. The handbags also employ a combination of handbag side material, shoe uppers, stiffeners, counters, and other structures to form, support, and decorate the handbag sidewalls. Each of these sidewall components can be of different colors and textures to provide a distinctive structure reminiscent of a shoe. Additional materials can also be used to decorate the sidewalls. The sidewalls form a collar that encircles a handbag opening, preferably located near the top of the handbags.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of and an arrangement for transferring a process liquid from a washing and thickening device to a subsequent process stage. In accordance with an advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the method and the arrangement are applicable, for example, in transferring fibre suspensions or pulps from washing and thickening device to a subsequent process stage in pulp and paper making industry such that the dilution of pulp after a washing and thickening device is performed in a stand pipe (18) below the surface level control range.
