Abstract: A throw-lever releasable mounting system for mounting a device in quick-release relation to a support member has a mounting base having a configuration fitting opposed angulated rail surfaces and having a locator key engaging a positioning slot of the rail. Each mounting base provides for mounting and stabilization of optics mounting rings. A locking platform projects from the mounting base and defines a locking opening having a circular hard metal insert therein that defines a receptacle receiving a resilient member and providing for location of the spline/spindle shaft of a rotatable locking plate. A locking plate of a throw-lever that is rotatable between locking and unlocking positions has angulated and curved cam surfaces for forcibly engaging correspondingly angulated surfaces of the rail to achieve cam energized precision locating and locking engagement with the rail.
Abstract: A portable electronic information device for performing information processing, data communication or the like. In the device, a slot is housed within a longitudinal rectangular housing recess formed at the rear portion of a lower wall of a device body so as to be able to be ejected therefrom and buried therein. A spring is provided within the housing recess so as to urge the slot outward. A locking unit is provided for locking the slot within the housing recess against the urging force of the spring. A guide frame is pivotally attached to the front portion of the lower wall of the device body so as to be erectable therefrom. A card-shaped information medium is attached through a through-hole of the erected guide frame to the slot which protrudes outside from the housing recess.
Abstract: A pipe connector especially suitable for interconnecting a marine riser to a subsea wellhead, the connector comprising an annular body that telescopes over the wellhead, and a plurality of lockdown screw assemblies extending through radial ports in the body to releasably grip and secure the connector to the wellhead. Each screw assembly comprises a lockdown dog for engaging the recess beneath the wellhead hub flange, a bolt-like dog retainer secured to the dog and slidably extending into a lockdown screw that is threaded into one of the radial ports, and a spring system for biasing the dog away from the lockdown screw towards engagement with the wellhead.
