    Abstract: A safety door latch system is presented for a grain bin having a door frame. An inner door is connected to the door frame that is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. An outer door is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. A safety mechanism is connected to the door frame and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. When the inner door frame is moved to a closed position, a portion of the inner door engages the safety mechanism thereby causing the safety mechanism to move to the closed position. When the safety mechanism is in the closed position, the outer door may be latched to the safety mechanism. When the safety mechanism is in the open position, the outer door cannot latch to the safety mechanism.

The method of use includes moving the first and second clips longitudinally relative to one another so that the flanges move into retentive engagement and cause each of the pawl ends to engage one of the pawl stops.

A louver tilt rod mechanism is attached to and hidden from view behind one of the vertical styles of each of the doors and operates to mechanically link the louvers for movement in concert. A wire rope is positioned longitudinally within each of the louvers to prevent a breach of the shutter assembly through attempted bending of the louvers.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a gate assembly that can be configured to reduce the vulnerability of the gate to operation by a horse. In an embodiment, a lever operator is configured to extend above the head of a rider, such that a rider can reach up to operate the lever to open the gate. A configuration is illustrated wherein the operator lever moves relative to the gate as the gate opens and closes for providing full access through the gate area when the gate is open.

    Abstract: A magnet latch applying magnetic force for opening and closing the upper and lower cases is provided. The magnet latch includes a push button, a sliding block, a magnet, a magnetic hook, and an elastic member. To close the upper and lower cases, one moves the push button to slide the sliding block to one side. The magnetic hook is attracted by the magnet to move upwards. Once the magnetic hook attaches to the magnet, the push button is released and the sliding block moves toward and holds the magnetic hook, so as to achieve the purpose of magnetic latching. On the other hand, to open the upper case, one moves the push button to slide the sliding block to the other side, thereby opening up the upper case. Due to the weakened magnetic force and its own gravity, the magnetic hook returns back into the lower case.

To engage the coupling pin and the hook mouth, the coupling pin and an operable pin extending through the hollow locking bolt are brought into contact. This causes an end of the operable pin opposite the mouth to push against the control lever to unlock it from the latching position. The coupling pin pushes the locking bolt out of the mouth so that it can pass by further into it, at which point the lever and bolt return to the locked positions to secure the coupling pin inside.
