Abstract: A fastening device configured to be mounted to an elongated profile element of a support arm arrangement, and a method of mounting said fastening device to a support arm arrangement. The support arm arrangement exhibits a cross-sectional profile shape, and the fastening device is configured to hold a tubing member by a holding element, configured to be coupled to the fastening device and to the tubing member. The fastening device includes a contour surface at least partly corresponding with said cross-sectional profile shape, wherein the contour surface is configured for engaging and retaining the fastening device to the elongated profile element when the fastening device is mounted to the elongated profile element.

Abstract: A ski carrying apparatus that includes a first strap securable around a set of primary skis and a second strap securable around a first set of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus can also include a linkage assembly that connects the first strap to the second strap that permits the second strap to be positioned substantially perpendicular to the first strap when the ski carrying apparatus is in use. Another embodiment of a ski carrying apparatus for supporting sets of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus includes a first strap securable around a first set of secondary skis and a second strap securable around a second set of secondary skis. The ski carrying apparatus can also include a handle that can be removably attached to the first or second strap for carrying the two sets of secondary skis.

Abstract: A fishing bag with a shoulder belt is provided that includes a handle portion used to hold the fishing bag with a hand so that the usability is prevented from being compromised while preventing the shoulder belt from getting wet or dirty in a placed state. The fishing bag can include a handle including a pair of both end portions attached to a bag main body; and a shoulder belt including both end portions attached to the bag main body, wherein the shoulder belt is configured to be capable of being held between the bag main body and the handle.

Abstract: A board carrier that allows an individual to readily carry a surfboard, paddle board, etc. has a carrier body and a retention strap used in conjunction to encompass the board. The carrier body has a central section that is positioned along an edge of the board, and a first flap and a second flap that are positioned on opposite sides of the board. A handle and a carrier strap are connected to the central section, providing a dual means of carrying the board. The retention strap is fixed to the first flap and removably engaged with a strap fastener that is connected to the second flap. The retention strap is positioned around the board and engaged with the strap fastener to secure the board carrier to the board. A plurality of grips is integrated into the carrier body and the retention strap to prevent the board from slipping.

Abstract: An apparatus facilitating packing of a racecar parachute using a pilot chute launcher, the apparatus comprised of a slotted metal plate, a pair of notched tabs, and a pair of extensions selected to removably couple with the notched tabs and the plate. In use, the notched tabs, notched sides facing away from one another, are positioned and affixed to opposing sides of a parachute bag bottom plate. The parachute and pilot chute launcher are packed into the parachute bag. The extensions are inserted into opposing slots on the plate, and by engaging the extensions with the notched tabs, the pilot chute launcher is compressed. A top and a bottom flap of the parachute bag is secured over the plate in a usual fashion. The extensions and the plate are sequentially removed, and the parachute is continued to be packed in the usual fashion.

Abstract: A portable ski and ski pole carrier system includes a pair of flexible straps, each having a strap receiver and a strap fastener disposed at opposite ends. The strap receivers are configured to receive the strap fasteners and secure a pair of skis and ski poles within the straps. A handle is attached perpendicularly to the pair of straps and parallel to the pair of skis and ski poles. The ski poles are disposed between a heel binding on one of the pair of skis and a brake lever handle extending from the other of the pair of skis. The loops formed by the straps may be disposed between toe and heel bindings on the pair of skis. The interior of the straps may include a non-slip material to help secure the pair of skis.

The strap receiver is configured to receive the strap fastener and secure a pair of skis within the strap. A handle is attached to the strap between the ends and disposed perpendicular to the pair of skis. A grip may be disposed about at least a portion of the handle. The grip may include a rubber or foam material and may be rotatably attached to the handle. In another embodiment, the handle is attached to a pair of flexible straps and aligned to the pair of skis. Abstract: A human transporting system for efficiently removing an injured person out of water. The human transporting system generally includes a handle, a pair of straps attached to the handle, a pair of sliding loops attached to the straps forming looped portions for receiving the wrists of an injured human, and a pair of biasing members attached between the handle and the sliding loops. The looped portions receive the wrists of the injured human and the user pulls the injured human from the water by pulling upon the handle which tightens the looped portions upon the wrists. Once the injured human is pulled out of the water, the handle is lowered thereby allowing the biasing members to loosen the looped portions about the wrists.

Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for detachably securing cans for use in plumbing, painting, construction, and home improvement. The devices are configured for mounting a structure such as a ladder, scaffold, bench, tool box, saw horse, table, railing, pipe, wood, lumber, metal, or plastic support or other object and further configured for detachably securing cans, such as cans containing PVC glue or primer for a plumber's use. In one device, the securing members have two arms configured to be arranged in an open state for receiving the can with substantially zero insertion force. In that device, the arms have end portions with latching members configured to join together in a first engagement position with the can. In a closed state, the latching members are in a partially overlapping configuration that pulls the arms tightly around the circumference of the can and thereby supplies a compression fit with high pull-apart strength.

Abstract: A flexible carrier apparatus comprising two rods and two flexible straps. The flexible straps are attached at opposite ends of the rods. One rod is placed under and then above the other rod, thus creating two nooses from the flexible straps, used to carry objects. A netting portion spanning the flexible straps is used to carry smaller objects. A securing device may be used to hold the objects together when the apparatus is not being carrier. A holding device may be used to hold the apparatus in position to receive objects.

Abstract: A carrier for a scuba tank or other cylindrical bottle comprises two cylindrical handles connected by a looped rope, the rope passing slidably through one of the handles. The scuba tank is supported by the ropes and carried by one handle looped through the rope. The handles may also be used to chock the tank against rolling in a vehicle, by placing the tank next to one handle and sliding the other handle up against the tank.

Abstract: A flexible carrier apparatus comprising two rigid independent rods and two flexible material straps. The flexible straps are attached to the opposite ends of the rigid rods. One rigid rod is placed under and then above the other rigid rod, thus creating two independent nooses from the flexible straps.

Abstract: A Balance Handle includes two types of handle grips, A type having braided rope approximately five and one-half inches long inserted and centered within a length of comparable diameter tubular nylon webbing and B type, a commonly available product consisting of approximately six inch length of heavy rubber tubing inserted and centered within a length of comparable tubular nylon webbing covered with a molded, non-marking rubber sleeve. Two case clamps are stainless steel worm gear clamps, each cut to a length slightly longer than the diameter of a tubular fishing rod case and sheathed in comparably sized tubular nylon webbing of a length approximately one inch shorter than the diameter of the tubular fishing rod case. Both A type and B type handle grip ends are void of rope or tubing and thus flat, enabling them to be cut to a length at least long enough to fit under, up, and over the worm gear housing of the case clamp. Each end of both A type and B type handle grip is squarely melted forming a small T shape.

The body includes a grasping aperture, a first aperture and a second aperture. The first and second apertures each receive an adjustable container strap. The adjustable container straps are placed about the outer circumference of the beverage container and detained by a securing mechanism. The securing mechanism may be one of a variety of securing devices, including hook and loop material, snap fasteners, button snaps, buttons or buckles.

The first and second slots are each sized to receive the blade of an in-line skate so that the base member is substantially perpendicular to the in-line skate blades.

Abstract: A package handle carrier which provides a means for carrying packages, containers or equivalent with one hand. The package handle includes a pivoted top-nested carrying handle mounted on the top of a relatively flat compact box. The box contains two spring tensioned retractable tape reels rotatably mounted in the box in side by side relationship with their axes parallel. Each tape free end has a T-bar rod secured thereto which is insertable into an anchor clasp socket in the associated opposite wall of the box to hook the free end of the tape thereto. Each reel has an upwardly protruding fluted rewind knob for manually drawing up the tape, and a spring biased reel ratchet lock to engage the knob flutes to positively one-way lock the tape in taut condition about the package to be carried.

Abstract: A handle assembly is provided for a generally cylindrical compressed air tank having a longitudinal axis. The assembly includes a substantially annular mounting piece having an outer perimeter and an opening formed therein for receiving an axial section of the air tank. The mounting piece is releasably fastened to the received section of the air tank, and a handle that is disposed entirely within the outer perimeter of the annular portion is attached to the mounting piece to facilitate manipulation of the tank.

Abstract: A service tray for holding food and drink which can be held in one hand. The tray has a bottom which defines an arcuate gripping edge along a portion of the periphery of the tray bottom. The edge is dimensioned to permit a user of the tray to grasp a beverage container between the thumb and index finger of one hand of the user. The user's remaining fingers support the underside surface of the tray bottom which thereby enables the user to firmly grip the tray. The tray is also provided with an upwardly extending C-shaped sidewall which bounds and adjoins the remaining portion of the tray bottom's periphery. The sidewall serves to prevent articles having been placed on the tray from sliding off of the tray. Construction of the tray is such that it can be manufactured in one step without subsequent machining or cutting steps.

Abstract: An adjustable ski carrier having a flexible rope with two snap locks on each end. A handle provided on the rope has inwardly extending slots on each end of the handle. A pair of spaced apart apertures made on the opposite side of the handle are adapted to receive the rope from within a handle and extended over the top of the handle on the outside of it. A distance between the apertures is smaller than the distance between the most inward ends of the slots. The length of the rope in relation to the snap locks can be adjusted by extending the loop created by the part of the rope lying atop of the handle so that the device can be used for carrying the skis up the slope or down the slope in a balanced manner, and with the handle being fixed in a certain position by means of the slots in combination with the apertures and the loop. A knot created atop of the handle from the loop can be used to further ensure a fixed distance between the handle and the snap locks on the ends of the rope.

Abstract: A firewood carrier is comprised of a continuous length of rope having a series of spaced intersecting portions which are retained together in parallel relation to one another by deformable plastic tubular spreaders in surrounding relation to the intersecting portions such that opposite ends of the spreaders are bounded by opposite sides of the rope. The free ends of the rope are passed through the closed or loop end of the rope to form an object-encircling portion in which the firewood can be stacked so that when the free or handle end is lifted the object-encircling portion is contracted into snug fitting engagement with the firewood with opposite sides of the rope engaging longitudinally spaced locations around the stack of firewood.
