Abstract: Disclosed herein is a modular carrier system, which may facilitate the lifting, carrying, and movement of a wide variety of objects by one person or multiple people. In various embodiments, a modular carrier system may comprise a plurality of straps, a movable handle that may be positioned along the straps, and accessories for assisting in the moving and carrying of various types of objects.

Abstract: A holding device for storing a hard-top including a belt system into which the hard-top can be placed in such manner that the weight of the hard-top is supported essentially entirely by the belt system. The belt system enables the hard-top to be fixed in the holding device and attached thereby to a wall or a ceiling of a room. A protective cover into which the belt system is sewn, can also be provided. The holding device is suitable for hard-tops with attachment pins as well as for hard-tops without attachment pins.

Abstract: A package for cans of soft drinks, beer and the like is described. The package comprises a single long sleeve of shrink wrap plastic film within which the cans are stacked one on top of the other. A gap is arranged in the center of the stack so that the sleeve can be folded in half and the juxtaposed sides thereof are joined together by hot glue, and thus forming a handle between the two stacks. In an alternative embodiment the stacked cans are simply held by means of a gummed stretch tape around each pair of cans at the junction thereof.

Abstract: A strap device for luggage, bags, cartons or the like to prevent the luggage from opening when subjected to rough handling. The strap device includes a pair of straps which encircle the luggage and pass on either side of a handle on the luggage. A pair of cross straps are secured between the encircling straps and confine and surround the handle such that the device cannot be slid off or pulled off the luggage. No additional connection or attachment between the strap device and luggage is required. Various mechanical and hook and loop fasteners can be used to secure and tighten the encircling straps.

Abstract: A resilient strap assembly for securing and carrying mail or similar articles in a stacked arrangement. The straps are in a cross-like configuration and their outermost ends are equipped with fasteners which can be secured to one another to ensure that the stacked material will be securely retained and can be transported without inadvertent disassembly.

Abstract: A carrying harness apparatus for carrying or turning a mattress which can be tightened down on mattresses of varying sizes to provide lateral support for the mattress during carrying and secure handholds at several points about the periphery is disclosed. Two belts in the harness apparatus, which lie along opposite sides of the mattress, are adjustable in length to allow the harness to be tightened down and have releasable connectors for easy removal of the harness.
