  • Patent number: 4666202
Abstract: A storage unit comprising a housing and a sleeve slidable within the housing. The housing has a vertical opening which is divided into slots by a plurality of bar stops. The sleeve has a plurality of shelves with spaces for holding containers which may be placed onto and removed from the shelves when the shelves and bar stops are in registration. When the bar stops and shelves are not aligned, the bar stops block the spaces adjacent to the shelves, and prevent the containers from accidentally being lost or removed from the shelves.

  • Patent number: 4666201
Abstract: A modular article supporting rack has a U-shaped supporting frame. A plurality of elongated, transversely extending, shelves, formed of wire members, is affixed to the sides of the supporting frame. Each of the rack modules is stackable for shipping and storage. Each rack module may be attached to a second identical module to form a rack having twice as many shelves. Each shelf is formed of a C-shaped, wire, shelf frame member with a package retaining lip formed in a central region thereof. A plurality of elongated shelf-support wire members can be affixed, spaced apart from one another, to the sides of the C-shaped, shelf frame member to complete each shelf.

  • Patent number: 4600231
Abstract: A carrier for self-supporting sheet-like articles such as printed circuit boards and the like comprises first and second frames and first and second spaced-apart panels supported by the frames. The panels are adapted to receive and support articles such as printed circuit boards, which can be inserted from the front of the carrier. The frames and the panels are connected in such a manner that the panels support the frames and provide front-to-back rigidity in the carrier, while the frames provide side-to-side rigidity.

  • Patent number: 4599314
Abstract: A specimen tray apparatus is disclosed primarily for use in cell culture studies. The apparatus includes a tray and a plurality of individual cells in the form of specimen vessels which can be removably located in the tray. A lid is also provided for the tray and is physically identical therewith. Each vessel has a cover which is received in an opening in the lid when the tray and lid are assembled, so that pressure sensitive tape can then be used to releasably secure the covers to the lid while allowing one or more of the covers to be released when appropriate by peeling back the tape.

  • Patent number: 4514072
Abstract: An improved X-Ray film holder apparatus for restrainably maintaining a plurality of X-Ray films in position within conventional developing and chemical processing tank insert trays. A holder fixture with upper and lower ends embodies a plurality of film holder members having an alternating series of substantially trapezoidal shaped flanges and recesses to describe a plurality of notched regions into which opposite edges of X-Ray films may be restrainably inserted and positioned. Pairs of aligned film holder members serve to restrain each one of the plurality of X-Ray films and handle means are operably positioned along the fixture for cooperation with the chemical processing insert tray. The flanges themselves and/or the upper and lower ends of the fixtures are shaped to preclude the inadvertent contact of supporting articles with any portion of the bowed films restrained in place within the film holder apparatus.
