Abstract: A power tool comprises an adjustable auxiliary handle assembly that facilities safe use of the tool by the operator when handling heavy duty handheld machinery. The adjustable auxiliary handle assembly comprises a strap, a handle base, an over-center linkage assembly, a locking lever, a locking lever and an adjustable knob. The strap is easily released and able to rotate and be locked in a different position convenient and comfortable to the operator. The auxiliary handle assembly is adjustable and can be operated with one hand (e.g., one-handed operation). The over-center linkage assembly holds the auxiliary handle position in place while allowing the power tool to be used in high-torque/high load applications.

The first lever has a first jaw extending from the fulcrum, and the second lever has a second jaw extending from the fulcrum. The first jaw and the second jaw define a clamping area for a pot when the first lever and the second lever are rotated from an open position into a closed position. The first jaw has at least one support slot, the support slot being shaped to fit to the contour of a gripping area of the pot to be held in the clamping area. The first lever has a first locking feature and the second lever has a second locking feature. The first locking feature engages with the second locking feature in the closed position so that the first lever and the second lever are locked in the closed position.

Abstract: The removable gripping device for an ear-shaped holding member of a kitchen utensil includes a case with a housing in the form of a slit with a height to at least partially accommodate the latter by nesting and with functional play. The case also has a latch able to occupy at least a locked position and an unlocked position in order, depending on the case, to block or free the removable gripping device on this holding member. In combination with and independently of the locking/unlocking function, at least one retaining pad extends at least partially in the slit-shaped housing so as to define, in the latter, at least one passage section adjusted to the thickness of the holding member. The pad, in its part at least extending in the housing is made from a flexible material to retract under stress.

The protrusion is shaped for inhibiting slippage of the first lip of the beverage can off of the protrusion. The beverage can handle also includes a second arm that is slideably coupled to the first arm and extendable from a storage position to an extended position relative to the first end of the first arm. The second arm has a first end and a second end. The first end includes a groove for releasably mating with a second lip of the beverage can when in the extended position. The groove is shaped for inhibiting slippage of the second lip of the beverage can out of the groove when the second arm is in the extended position.

Hook portions are radially aligned with, and extend axially opposite the grasping portions, and are engageable with an upper surface of the lid portion. The elongated extension is formed within a recess defined within the overall holder. The holder may be held firmly with one hand and the grasping extension actuated with the other hand. The holder is configured to be held and operated by right and left handed persons. In use, the cup grasping portion of the holder is urged downwardly onto a portion of the perimeter of a cup edge. The specimen is firmly grasped thereby. Upon collection of the specimen, the extension is urged toward the handle so as to open cooperating and opposing cup holding members. In this fashion, the specimen cup and collected specimen are released and the holder is disposed of.

The locking/unlocking device (20) comprises a control pushbutton (22) placed at the front end of the grip (16) above the plate portion (14) and a latch (23) connected to the pushbutton (22) by a slider (24) placed in the front portion of the grip (16). This disposition of the pushbutton (22) at the front end of the grip (16) avoids accidental unlocking while the cooking utensil is in use.
