  • Patent number: 11951798
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to an HVAC system which is externally mounted on a vertical surface of an RV, truck or bus. The desire is to eliminate, or at least substantially reduce, a potential leakage path wherein water may sit on an upper surface of a vehicle and due to seal degradation over long periods of time, may find a pathway in through the roof of the vehicle and to an interior thereof. By positioning the HVAC on a vertical surface, gravity works to move water downward and away from the HVAC system rather than allowing it to stagnate in an area around potential apertures through the outer skin or outer surface of the vehicle.

A swingarm and crossbar assembly may support the floor of the tent component and may be controlled by a motor system. The motors may be remotely activated to open the tent trailer from a stowed configuration to an open configuration, and an inflation unit may also be remotely activated to inflate an inflatable tent. Thus, the push-button convenience makes this an incomparably quick and easy method of establishing a camp shelter. The aerodynamic features combined with the lightweight assembly reduce fuel consumption and present an efficient and stylish alternative over the prior art.

  • Patent number: 7758103
Abstract: A hydraulic lift for mobile living quarters having a liftable top. A fluid pressure source communicates fluid through fluid lines connected to a plurality of lifting members that extend upon receipt of fluid and retract upon discharging fluid. The rate at which fluid is discharged from the lifting members is a function of how much weight each lifting member bears. Each of the fluid lines has a flow control valve between the pressure source and each lifting member. Fluid is communicated through the flow control valve to the lifting member connected to the pressure source the fluid is also communicated through the flow control valve when fluid is discharged from the lifting member. The flow control valve limits the flow rate of the fluid to a constant predetermined rate when the fluid is discharged from the lifting member.

  • Patent number: 7419201
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a roof-raising/lowering mechanism for an A-frame style folding trailer comprises a mechanical lever arm assembly. The lever arm assembly is coupled to the rear roof section, which underlies the front roof section when such sections are in their lowered, overlapping positions. Thus, when the lever arm assembly is operated to raise the rear roof section, it pushes up the front roof section to its raised position. The lever arm assembly can be manually operated and/or power-operated using, for example, an electric motor as the power source.
