Abstract: A perimeter barrier for a building structure includes a panel and a j-track coupled to a bottom of the panel. A top track and a z-vent are coupled to the building structure such that the top track and z-vent secure an upper portion of the panel. A top h-track is coupled to the panel and top track, and a bottom h-track is mounted to the panel and the j-track. In addition, a door is installed in the top h-track and the bottom h-track to provide access through the perimeter barrier to a space beneath the building structure. In addition, a kit for such types of components is disclosed.

The system includes a training building including a first story simulating a basement of a second building and a second story simulating a first story of the second building. The system further includes a platform defining an opening and including a base configured to mount the platform on a ground surface. The system also includes an egress well operatively connected to the platform at the opening such that a base of the egress well is positioned above the ground surface and wherein the egress well is further operatively connected to the first story of the training building. An emergency egress training method is also provided.

An example structure can be formed from a portion/section of a trailer, such as a semi-truck, or dry-van, trailer. The trailer has a unibody construction allowing the section(s) cut/formed therefrom to be self-supporting. The self-supporting sections can be enclosed on one or more open ends, i.e. the ends formed by cutting or sectioning the trailer, to enclose the section. The enclosed section can then be outfitted/equipped, as needed, to form the complete structure.

The weight of the slide-out room is supported by the rollers, thereby supporting the slide-out room off of the floor of the main living quarters as it extends and retracts.
