The integrated extendable load floor assembly includes a plurality of rails adapted to be to be disposed upon the sides above the floor of the rear end. The integrated drawer assembly also includes a load floor operatively cooperating with the rails for sliding movement therealong and to close a longitudinal end of the cargo area.

Abstract: A motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car, includes a storage compartment, closable by at least one gate, which is delimited on its bottom by an essentially horizontal bottom plate fixed to the vehicle. At least one loading ramp is located in the storage compartment below the bottom plate which is mounted in a horizontal guide and is adjustable when the gate is open between an inserted position, in which the loading ramp is completely accommodated in the storage compartment, and an extended position, in which the loading ramp extends from the vehicle and rests on a ground on which the vehicle stands. An end section of the loading ramp facing the storage compartment is pivotable around a pivot axis which extends transverse to the lengthwise axis of the loading ramp. This pivot axis is positioned in this case so that in the extended position an end edge of the ramp facing the bottom plate sits approximately flush with an end edge of the bottom plate facing the loading ramp.

And front and rear side walls are hinged to respective outermost side edges of the front and rear end walls of the central structure. In an expansion operation, the front and rear side walls are adapted to be initially swung out perpendicular to the longitudinal side wall and positioned by ground supports.

Abstract: A storage and retrieval assembly for a vehicle cargo area is disclosed. The storage and retrieval assembly includes a base support structure mounted in the vehicle cargo area, a first tray moveably connected to the base support structure and a second tray attached to the first tray. The attached first and second trays are movable into and out of the vehicle cargo area through an opening thereof. A storage and retrieval system for a vehicle cargo area is also disclosed. The storage and retrieval system may include the described storage and retrieval assembly in combination with a shelf assembly mounted in the vehicle cargo area and/or a shelf mounted on the wheel well of the vehicle in the cargo area.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a synchronized rack and pinion system for extendable rooms for recreational vehicles. In particular, the invention provides a drive system for use in extending and retracting an extendable room on a vehicle frame. The drive system includes at least one pair of parallel rack and pinion systems operatively connected between the vehicle frame and the extendable room, with each pair of parallel rack and pinion systems synchronized through respective drive shafts. The system is operable between a closed position where the extendable room is retracted with respect to the vehicle frame and an open position where the extendable room is extended with respect to the vehicle frame.

Abstract: An extendable sleeper for a truck that has a fixed portion and an extension. The extension is slidably connected to the fixed portion for horizontal longitudinal movement with respect thereto. The fixed portion is defined by rigid sleeper sidewalls, and is adapted for attaching to a rear portion of a truck cab. The extension has rigid extension sidewalls and a rigid rear panel. The movement of the extension with respect to the fixed portion causes the extendable sleeper to move between a stored configuration and a deployed configuration. In the stored configuration, at least part of the extension is located inside the fixed portion. In the deployed configuration, at least another part of the extension is extending behind the fixed portion such that the sleeper has a relatively greater enclosed volume.

The re-configurable cargo cover includes a plurality of individual panels operatively cooperating with each other and a bed of a vehicle. The re-configurable cargo cover includes a pair of interior sides operatively connected to sides of the bed of the vehicle. The re-configurable cargo cover further includes the panels and the sides having features cooperating with each other to re-configure the panels into a plurality of different configurations for a cargo area of the bed of the vehicle.
