Abstract: A convertible golf cart seat assembly is disclosed. The convertible golf cart seat assembly includes a main seat frame attached to the existing golf cart structure, a plastic stationary cargo board supported by the main seat frame, a plastic flip board rotatably hinged to the main seat frame, and a seat with a plastic backer board attached to the flip board. The hinge between the flip board and the main seat frame includes flip board flanges on the flip board and cargo board flanges on the stationary cargo board that abut each other and provide strength to the cargo bed created by the stationary cargo board and the flip board.

Abstract: A modular sofa assembly described herein includes a plurality of seating modules each having a seat section, a backrest section, and side edge surfaces. The backrest section includes first and second portions coupled for movement between a folded configuration and an extended configuration. An armrest module has an armrest side edge surface configured for mating engagement with a side edge surface of a seating module. The modular sofa is assembled by aligning connectors of the seating modules and armrest module, with each respective connectors slidingly engaged along an axis. After bringing the modules together, these connections are secured with the side edge surfaces in abutting engagement. The modular sofa further may include a power cradle mounted at the sofa's bottom surface. The power cradle includes a cubic power outlet near the front of the sofa, and power cable extending beyond the back of the sofa.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a chair with game features. A foldable chair includes a foldable structure having a back canvas structure, a bottom canvas secured to the foldable structure and having a through-hole, a cover flap removably connected to the bottom canvas covering the through-hole, and a back canvas removably secured to the back canvas structure. A field goal includes a plurality of pipes connected with a plurality of connection fittings. The back canvas can be removed so that the field goal can be removably connected to the back canvas structure. The cover flap can be moved from a first position covering the through-hole, and a second position where the through-hole is exposed. In some embodiments a foldable backboard can be removably connected to the back canvas structure.

Abstract: An adjustable office chair includes a base device, and a seat device disposed on the base device. The seat device includes a fixed seat section, a rear seat section connected pivotally to and disposed behind the fixed seat section, a front seat section connected pivotally to and disposed in front of the fixed seat, and an invertible seat section connected pivotally to a side of the front seat section distal from the fixed seat section. The invertible seat section is movable to a position directly above the fixed seat section to allow a user to sit thereon. The front and invertible seat sections are movable to align with the fixed seat section to allow the user to sit on the fixed seat section. The rear seat section is movable to an inclined position to allow the user to lie on the seat device.

Abstract: A transfer bench and methods for using same to facilitate movement of a person into and out of an enclosure are disclosed. The transfer bench comprises a first seating section that at least partially lies in a horizontal plane. A second seating section rotatably coupled to the first seating section is configured to rotate between a generally horizontal position and a generally vertical position. Each seating section can be supported by one or more legs. The transfer bench can be positioned in the enclosure. A user sits on the second seating section, moves to the first seating section, and can rotate the second seating section to a vertical position such that the transfer bench is disposed within the enclosure. The enclosure may be a wet/dry environment and can be enclosed by means such as a shower curtain, door, or other enclosure means.

Abstract: A seating is provided that is adapted for imparting at least partial body support to a user in multiple positions. The seating apparatus has a support structure holding a body supporting assembly that comprises one member defining a seating surface and another member that can be configured to form an auxiliary body support surface essentially parallel to and at a different level than the seating surface. Said different level preferably includes at least one level that is below that of the seating surface.

Abstract: A multi-functional exercise bench having a storage section that can store exercise equipment such as weights, jump ropes, water bottles, yoga mats, decorative hand weights, yoga mats, resistance bands, etc. The bench includes a riser platform that provides an angled surface that the user can lay on while exercising. The riser platform is hinged at one end of the bench. Additionally, a storage cover can be included, being hinged at the rear of the bench. The multi-functional exercise bench can include weight support members as well as leg exercise devices. These weight holding exercise members can be collapsible and capable of being stored inside the storage section. The bench is covered in aesthetically pleasing materials to match the décor of the room.

Abstract: An article of seating furniture including an extendable support assembly that is movable to convert the assembly from an upright position to a supine position. The extendable support assembly includes a pedestal having a pair of guide tracks with upwardly extending notches disposed on opposite sides of the pedestal. The notches in each guide track are engageable with rollers disposed on a frame of the article of seating furniture, in order to guide the pedestal during movement toward and away from the chair. A backrest assembly is pivotally connected between the frame and the pedestal and moves in conjunction with the pedestal between the upright position and the supine position. The assembly is maintained in the upright position by engagement of the rollers on the frame within the notches in the tracks on the pedestal.

Abstract: A foldable combined bench and table includes two spaced support frames each with a bottom rod for lying on a ground surface, and frontmost and rearmost posts for detachably mounting two bench seat members, and a leg member between the posts. A mounting frame is provided with a flat board member, and includes two spaced side rails, and rightmost and leftmost crossbars which interconnect the side rails to define a first axis and which are coupled with the leg members such that the leg members are pivoted about the first axis. Two linkage assemblies are mounted between the mounting frame and the support frames. Each linkage assembly includes upper and lower linking arms which are hinged to each other about a second axis parallel to the first axis, and which are respectively secured to the mounting frame and the corresponding leg member.

Abstract: A convertible hassock has a base whose walls enclose a storage area, a flat lid which covers the storage area, and at least one seat which is hinged to one of the walls. The seat can be pivoted from an outboard position resting on top of the lid, to an outboard position substantially coplanar with the lid. The seat is supported, in its open position, either by a cantilever construction or by a prop which engages the floor. The seat has a cushioned side and a flat panel side. The cushion is uppermost when the seat is folded inward, to provide a hassock function, and the panel side is uppermost when the seat is folded outward, providing an extended table surface. While the seats are folded outward, the lid can be raised to permit access to the storage area beneath.

A third doped region having the second type of conductivity and a fourth doped region having the first type of conductivity are located within the base region. A doped region having a first type of conductivity is located within the substrate. This doped region is connected to the fourth doped region.

Abstract: A marine vehicle comprising a hull, a floor supported by the hull, and a convertible sofa-sleeper supported by the floor and including a seat bottom member having a forward end and being supported for movement between a horizontal position wherein the seat bottom member extends substantially horizontally, and a canted position wherein the seat bottom member is inclined upwardly toward the forward end.

Abstract: In a furniture article consisting of a back rest, seat and foot rest the foot rest is pivotally moveable between a position in which the foot rest is held substantially horizontally outwardly from the seat, and a position in which the foot rest abuts against the seat. This is achieved by a frame work holding the seat support material, which frame work consists entirely of side edge rods having hinges between the seat and the foot rest portion of the side rods, the frame work having no transverse rods which could decrease the physiologically acceptable seat functions and comfort of the article in any of said foot rest positions. The back rest portions of the side rods are provided with hinges which permit the back rest to assume two positions, one with a high back rest and the other with a low back rest having a portion of the back rest abutting against the remaining back rest surface, without any comfort decreasing transverse rods existing in either of said back rest positions.

Each pair of adjacent cushion ends are connected together for relative angular displacement about a transverse axis extending along corresponding end transverse marginal portions of the first corresponding face surfaces of the cushions. Three adjacent cushions of the four cushions are of generally the same length while the fourth cushion is of a length equal to approximately one half the length of each of the other three cushions.

Abstract: This pregnancy-supporting lounge chair is designed to support a pregnant woman's stomach safely and comfortably, when she lies in prone position, and it can also comfortably seat a person when desired. Primarily, it consists of a main seat frame with a backrest and a footrest, and it further includes a second seat frame, to cover an open area in the main seat frame, containing an adjustable stretch band, which supports the woman's stomach when she is in the face-down prone position.

Abstract: A mechanism for a chair or sofa which is convertible into a bed comprises a fixed frame to which is pivotally attached an articulated movable frame made up of three sub-frames a first of which is pivotally connected at one end to the fixed frame, a second of which is suspended within the fixed frame by links and levers attached to the first sub-frame, and the third of which is pivotally attached to the first sub-frame. When the mechanism is folded up for use as a chair or sofa the second sub-frame lies below the first and within the fixed frame. When the mechanism is opened out as a bed the first sub-frame is turned to a horizontal position and the second sub-frame is raised to the same horizontal level thereas by the linkages and lever systems from which it is suspended.

Abstract: A convertible couch or chair has a normally stationary main frame, a primary seat frame pivotal and slidable on the main frame, a secondary seat frame slidable on the primary seat frame, and a back pivoted on the main frame and on its primary seat frame. The primary seat frame slides at its rear end in upwardly and forwardly inclined guides and links connecting it to the back automatically displace this back on displacement of the primary seat frame away from the main frame from an up position behind a stack of two cushions supported on the primary seat frame into a down position level forming a horizontal continuation of the upper surface of the lower cushion. The secondary frame is formed as a bedding-storage compartment and when pulled drawer-fashion out of the pulled-out primary seat frame serves as a support surface onto which the upper seat cushion can be flopped.
