Abstract: A modular furniture assembly is disclosed herein. The assembly includes a base, an upright member, and one or more connector plates configured to selectively couple a bottom portion of the base to a bottom portion of the upright member. The base and the upright member are sized and configured in a particular defined spatial relationship where the length (X) of the base is substantially equal to the sum of the width (Y) of the base and two times a dimension (Z) which is the width (Z1) of the upright member or a separation distance (Z2) between adjacent receiving holes of the base and upright member. Thus, X is substantially equal to Y+2Z.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and device for dynamically modifying a PCH PCIE root port where an onboard VGA is located, and a readable storage medium. The current item may be determined at a PEI phase by reading a GPIO interface, and a target PCH PCIE root port used by the item is further determined; then configuration information is acquired, and a target onboard VGA is found and initialized; because a video bridge configuration file defined in an SDL file is saved in a structure of a temporary file when code is compiled, in the method, the value of a target member of the structure is modified as the port number of the target PCH PCIE root port at a DXE phase, so that a video bridge is switched to the target PCH PCIE root port.

Abstract: A chair is provided with a seat support frame which may be comprised of at least two tubes spaced apart by a polymer connector. The seat support frame supports a foam cushion and the frame may be embedded in the foam and may include flexible supports across the support frame also embedded in the foam. A rigid panel has a cavity and the rigid panel is arranged adjacent an outer surface of said foam cushion with at least part of said foam cushion positioned within the cavity, wherein said rigid panel is affixed to said support frame and an inner surface of said rigid panel faces the outer surface of said foam cushion.

Abstract: A seating system includes a base, and a seat mounted on the base and defining a seating surface. A backrest is configured for movement relative to the base and the seat between a first position and a second position by a backrest transfer arrangement having a movable pivot axis configuration. In the second position, the backrest defines a working surface spaced above and lying generally parallel to the seating surface.

Abstract: An adjustable seat cushion assembly is disclosed which exhibits a first seat element and a second seat element moveable relative to the first seat element. A cover piece straddles a variable gap between cushion parts of the first and second seat elements. The adjustable seat cushion assembly is configured to draw the cover piece into the gap when the seat cushion assembly is moved from an extended position into a retracted position. A hem is formed with the cover piece in an area between the two cushion parts, and is joined with the second seat element. A link rod extends in the seat width direction of the cover piece and engages into slots at opposite ends.

Abstract: A reversible orthopedic seat cushion can include a right leg support channel, a left leg support channel, a rear cutout, and a front contoured protuberance, which can allow a person sitting in the cushion to experience reduced pressure on the persons coccyx, while having support and guidance to the position of the legs. The seat cushion can also be used in a reversed position. The features of the cushion may promote a healthy sitting posture, and proper spine alignment, and may reduce or prevent back pain. Also disclosed is a method for configuring a support contour of a cushion.

Abstract: A chair (10) with a seat of adjustable length includes a chair stand (1), a transmission shaft (2), a first chair seat (3) and a second chair seat (4). The transmission shaft (2) is mounted onto the chair stand (1) and rotatable with respect to the chair stand (1) and has left and right spiral threads (21, 22) aligned in opposite directions and formed on the exterior of the transmission shaft (2). The first and second chair seats (3, 4) are sheathed on the transmission shaft (2) and screwed and transmitted along the left and right spiral threads (21, 22) respectively and synchronously drive the first and second chair seats (3, 4) to approach or separate from one another. The width of the chair seat can be adjusted to attach the chair to a user's buttock closely for sitting posture correction and pelvic correction.

Abstract: A vehicle seat (1), in particular a utility vehicle seat, includes a first seat part and second seat part which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to the first seat part in order to set the seat depth. At least one slider (50), which is connected to the first seat part, is provided. The slider (50) projects with a connecting region (56), embodied in the manner of a head, through a guide slot (60) which is provided in the second seat part. In order to attach the slider (50) to the first seat part, an anchoring element (70), which is embodied as a separate part and is composed of metal, is provided. The anchoring element (70) projects through the slider (50) and through the first seat part and connects the slider (50) to the first seat part in a positively locking fashion.

Abstract: A vehicle seat can be configured to include a variety of types of cushions. The seat may include primary and secondary cushions that are joined together such that the secondary cushion has a stored position under the seating surface of the primary seat cushion and a deployed position where the secondary seat cushion is positioned adjacent the primary seat cushion. The effective width of the seat may be greater when it is in one position than when it is in the other position. The back cushion may include first and second portions and a third portion intermediate the first and second positions. A vehicle may include left, right, and middle seats, the middle seat being configured to have two positions, the effective width of the middle seat in one position being greater than in the other position.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a vehicle seat assembly having a seatback member and a lower seat member. The lower seat member has a generally horizontal and upwardly-facing seating surface. The seatback member has a cushion portion and is selectively rotatable between an upright position in which the cushion portion is adjacent the wall and a lowered position in which the cushion portion extends farther forward than the seating surface. The seatback member functions to support the back or head of an occupant (when the seatback member is in the upright position) or as an extension to the lower seat member to provide additional fore/aft support to a child seat.

Abstract: A furniture assembly is disclosed. A surface is reversibly attached to a support via a removable connector. The connector attaches through the surface into the support structure and preferably lays flush with the surface. The connector may even blend aesthetically with the surface. The surface may be flipped to the opposite side by removing the connector and turning the surface over. A recess on the opposing side also allows the connector to pass there-through and connect to the support structure. In alternate embodiments, the two opposing surfaces may be identical or they may be different to reflect two distinct styles, colors, patterns, textures or the like. The flipping of the surface may be done to extend the life of the surface, change the aesthetic of the surface or both.

Abstract: A seat pad assembly is disclosed including a body pad for placement on the seating surface of a child seating device. The body pad has a front side, a back side, and two spaced apart vertical slots through the pad. The seat pad assembly has a head support with a connecting strip extending between a pair of laterally spaced apart cushions. The head support is generally H-shaped and installed on the pad through the slots with the pair of cushions on one side of the pad and the connecting strip on the other side. The head support is slidable along the slots to adjust the vertical position of the cushions. The seat pad assembly can be used on a child seating device such as a children's car seat, an infant carrier, a stroller, an infant swing, or the like.

Abstract: A seating is provided that is adapted for imparting at least partial body support to a user in multiple positions. The seating apparatus has a support structure holding a body supporting assembly that comprises one member defining a seating surface and another member that can be configured to form an auxiliary body support surface essentially parallel to and at a different level than the seating surface. Said different level preferably includes at least one level that is below that of the seating surface.

Abstract: A reversible seat for a boat or other vehicle includes a base, a seat bottom, and a seat back. The seat bottom, which has a first surface and a second, opposite surface, is pivotally connected to the base such that the seat bottom is capable of rotating at least approximately 180 degrees about the base. The seat back is pivotally connected to the seat bottom on a side of the seat bottom opposite from where the seat bottom is pivotally connected to the base. In a first seat position, the first surface of the seat bottom faces substantially upward and the second surface of the seat bottom faces substantially downward. In a second seat position, the second surface of the seat bottom faces substantially upward and the first surface of the seat bottom faces substantially downward. In each of the first and second seat positions, the seat back extends upward at a predetermined angle relative to the seat bottom.

Abstract: An ergonomic work chair for activities requiring a bent-forward posture has the following features: a supporting cylinder which protrudes from a star base, a supporting column, which is mounted in the supporting cylinder such that it can be displaced in a vertical cylinder axis, for a base plate with a seat which is fixed on the base plate, a base arm which is fitted to the supporting column or to the base plate, and a pivoting arm, which is mounted on the base arm such that it can be rotated out of the seat region about a vertical axis, having a chest rest and side arm rests, and a support which has a star rest and is hinge-connected to the base plate via a lever mechanism which has fulcrums such that pressing down on the seat causes the star rest to move in the direction of the chest rest.

Abstract: A child entertainment apparatus is convertible between a swing mode and a jumper mode. The apparatus includes a frame, and a support convertible between a swinging configuration and a bouncing configuration. In the jumper mode, the support suspends the seat from the frame by a substantially flexible section, and in the swing mode, the support suspends the seat from the frame by a substantially rigid section. A bypass section is movable between an engaged position wherein the bypass section provides a substantially rigid connection between the frame and the seat, and a disengaged position wherein the substantially flexible section of the first support provides a flexible connection between the frame and the seat. The seat may be convertible between a feet forward position for the swing mode and a feet down position for the jumper mode.

Abstract: A multi-position chair may be positioned into multiple positions including one or more sitting positions at different heights, one or more leaning positions at different angles, and one or more storage positions. The multi-position chair may include a seat, a back and a support for supporting the seat and the back with respect to the floor. The seat and the back may be pivotable with respect to each other and with respect to the support. The seat includes a seating surface configured to receive the user's buttocks in a sitting position. The back may include a front seating surface configured to receive the user's back in a sitting position and a rear leaning surface configured to receive the user's buttocks in a leaning position.

Abstract: Novel and unique stackable multi-functional furniture is provided with a single hinge connecting two portions wherein one of the two portions is adapted to rotate about the hinge so that in some arrangements such as a container or a table, a surface comprising a portion of both portions is formed and in another arrangement, which establishes a chair, one of the portions is rotated about the hinge so that one portion is on top of the other.

Abstract: A healthful cushion comprises an outer shield member, a plastic pad, a first cushion member and a second cushion member. The outer shield member provides six cloth strips, which is sewed to form a shape of cross with a central section and four outward extending sections. The central section has a plurality of openings and each of the cloth strips having a secure part at both ends thereof for being adhered to each other. The plastic pad is attached with a Velcro part and provides magnetic pieces on the Velcro part. The first cushion member is a quadrilateral bag corresponding to the central section of the outer shield member with crystals being stuffed inside. The second cushion member provides the same configuration as the first cushion member with soft stuff inside. The first cushion member, the second cushion member and the plastic pad are wrapped with the outward extending sections of the outer shield member.

Abstract: A high chair is provided that can be used in different modes. The high chair is provided with a seating surface for supporting a child in an elevated position in one mode. The chair can be inverted and used to support a child carrier at an elevated position in a second mode. The chair is configured so that it rests on a generally flat support surface in a non-tilted orientation. A stabilizer may also be provided to further stabilize the chair. A stabilizer is also provided for use with the high chair or high chair of conventional design when such chairs are inverted and used to support child carriers.

Abstract: An activity center for a vehicle includes a base defining a storage area and a panel having first and second surfaces. The base is connected to the rear surface of a vehicle seat back. The panel, in turn, is connected to the base for movement between a closed position, which prevents access to the storage area and an open position which allows access to the storage area. The panel is also preferably coupled to the base so that either the first or second surface thereof may face away from the base. The two surfaces of the panel may be configured for a wide variety of educational, entertainment or work-related uses.

Abstract: A furniture unit includes a base, a horizontal panel having front and rear edges, and a vertical panel having upper and lower edges. A support is provided with a center pivot connected to the base, a front pivot connected to a front edge of the horizontal panel, and a rear pivot connected to a lower edge of the vertical panel. The support is movable to a first position where a front surface of the vertical panel is located generally rearwardly of and above the rear edge, and is movable to a second position where the vertical panel is located generally rearwardly of and below the rear edge. The support moves the vertical and horizontal panels with a counterbalanced motion. In one form, the arrangement forms an adjustable sit/stand chair. In another form, the arrangement forms a desk with a height-adjustable worksurface and adjustable-height backboard. Notably, the backboard can be a functional panel, and may include an erasable surface, a grooved surface for supporting accessories, or a tackable surface.
