    Abstract: The invention relates to an armchair folding system. According to the invention, the seat (1) and the corresponding armrests (3) are mounted using a tilting hinge system. More specifically, each armrest (3) is mounted to a rotary shaft (4) comprising a spring (5) that is used to raise the armrest (3). Moreover, the side of the armrest (3) is equipped with an angular element (6) on which side panel pins (7) can rest, thereby producing a drag effect in relation to the tilting movement between the seat (1) and each armrest (3).
