Abstract: This invention relates to a footpad device that is removably attached to a wheelchair's footplate and more particularly to a footpad device specifically dimensioned to correct the posture of a person with bare feet sitting in the wheelchair fitted to that person while wearing shoes. The footpad device is made of a flexible water resistant material to help support bare feet when they are wet and is shaped to help prevent bare feet from slipping off the side of the footplate.

Abstract: A stool includes a seat board, a plurality of legs, and a connecting board. The plurality of legs is attached to the seat board so as to protrude from the seat board in a downward direction, and to support the seat board such that the seat board is horizontally held. The connecting board is disposed such that one surface thereof faces a bottom surface of the seat board. The connecting board is surrounded by and secured to the plurality of legs.

Abstract: A salon chair includes a pedicure basin positioned between the foot of the chair and a front step opposite the foot of the chair. The pedicure basin includes a bottom floor, a perforated stepping surface above the bottom floor of the basin, and a nozzle assembly disposed between the bottom floor and the stepping surface for agitating water in the pedicure basin. Pressurized air is directed out of the nozzle assembly to induce a whirlpool action in the water held by the basin. The stepping surface may remain in the pedicure basin for days at a time, but may be removed when desired for cleaning purposes. The front step includes a cut-out, or groove, allowing allows a technician's chair to pull up closer to a person seated in the salon chair.

Abstract: A legrest-carrying chair is formed of a chair body 1A provided with a seat 2 on which a user sits, and a legrest 5 provided on a front side of the chair body 1A, the legrest 5 having front and rear surfaces, a leg holding unit 20 provided on the front surface and adapted to hold the user's legs, and a substantially flat leg resting portion 25 provided on the rear surface and capable of placing the user's legs thereon, the leg holding unit 20 having massaging members 23 adapted to massage the user's legs held in the leg holding unit 20, the legrest being mounted to the chair body 1A so that a front and a rear surfaces thereof can be reversed.

Abstract: A motor vehicle foot rest includes a movable foot rest panel, a driving mechanism and an actuator. In another aspect of the present invention, a flexible and linearly movable cable pushes or pulls a linearly movable slide capable of raising or lowering a foot rest panel. A further aspect of the present invention provides a linearly movable slide which is coupled to an elongated and relatively stationary track.
