Abstract: Disclosed herein is an assistive shoe donning and doffing device comprising a heel support, a movable toe support and an inclined surface, which is rotatable to adjust an angle of the inclined surface. The inclined surface has at least a plantarflexion foot position, a neutral foot position and a dorsiflexion foot position. The foot positions may be preset, or the inclined surface is rotated in a continuous manner to reach said foot positions. The foot positions may be controlled remotely by a remote controller, a graphical user interface or by voice, and the donning device can sense the location of the shoe on the inclined surface.
Abstract: An article of furniture is disclosed. The article of furniture comprises a stool configured to be used on a generally horizontal surface such as a floor. The stool comprises a seat and a base comprising a rounded bottom surface configured to rest upon the floor. A mass is positioned beneath the seat so that the base is at equilibrium in a first tilted orientation relative to the floor. The base can be tilted to second tilted orientation relative to the floor by tilting the rounded bottom surface of the base relative to the floor.

Abstract: A collapsible footrest assembly for a gliding ottoman with a top structure gliding upon a base. A pair of parallel, elongated slides are movably mounted under the top structure between upper and lower positions with respect to the top structure. A footrest is slidably and pivotally mounted between the slides for sliding operation between a slide-in position wherein the footrest extends and is supported between the slides and a slide-out position wherein the footrest is drawn out and pivoted down in front of the slides. The slide arrangement is detachably hooked under the top structure in the upper position, and is detachably locked with the base when it is in the lower position to prevent the ottoman from gliding when the footrest is in use.
