Abstract: The present invention is a multi-functional dive tool designed for use by underwater or scuba divers, in particular divers that do so in rivers. The tool is a handheld metal spike designed to be utilized as a personal anchor or stabilizer when diving in water subject to strong currents. The tool has a pointed end to assist in pushing the spike into the river, ocean or lake bed. Unlike the prior art, the dive spike is constructed of materials with sufficient strength and weight that it can anchor the diver. The tool may also be used for a stand for cameras or lights, an anchor or pivot point for search lines, or an animal deterrent among other uses.
Abstract: A combination tool for installing and crimping a cleat for fastening sections of ductwork, and for adjusting the threaded on support rods of strut channel for leveling the ductwork. The tool has an installing plate for holding a cleat and a removable handle that threads to the back of the installing plate. The handle has a hollow tubular body with a nut driver formed in the other end, for engaging and driving a threaded nut. The nut driver end is made by milling a rectangular slot transverse the axis of the hollow tubular body to form a pair of nut-engaging. A shank can be provided for attachment to the chuck of a power drill for rapid driving of the nuts. The tool also has a hinged crimping plate with threaded set screws for crimping the cleat securely to the flanges of the ductwork.
Abstract: A muddler comprises an elongated member that ends in a head with spikes for crushing fruit pieces or other flavor ingredients. In a reverse mode, the muddler can be used as an ice crusher. Optional side located stirring ribs or formations may be provided to facilitate stirring. A handle comprises an elongated member that ends in a head with a tool interface or working face for performing kitchen or culinary work or work on wood, metal or the like. The head can be removed from the elongated member, and different heads in a set applied with the handle. There can be a finger grip portion at the top to facilitate handling and turning and manipulation.
Abstract: A handheld safety device (10), where the safety device comprises an elongated, partial internal hollow body (12), to be placed in a hand of a person, and a release mechanism designed to move out a spring loaded awl (14) or similar tool from the hollow body. The device is equipped with light and sound alarm. The device comprises removable weights. The device contains a tracking equipment to localize the device and a transmitter that transmits an alarm signal to an alarm center.
Abstract: A kitchen accessory member comprising a tool for separating discrete portions of food items frozen together in a stacked array. The tool includes an impact member having a wedged shaped end forming an edge and a guide rod connected to and extending away from an opposing end of the impact member. A drive member is slideably mounted on the guide rod for manually manipulating the drive member into contact with the impact member or an upper end of the guide rod to force the edge of the wedge-shaped end between adjacent food items in the frozen stacked array of food items to separate adjacent food items from one another.
Abstract: There is provided an improved device for chipping ice for use in the sport of ice fishing or elsewhere. The device is comprised of a cutting member comprising two spikes defining a semi-rectangular inner area, and a handle attached to the cutting member. This configuration allows the user to create a hole for ice fishing quickly and easily while minimizing ice jamming within the device.
