Abstract: A hand pruner having a first and second handle, the first handle having a hook, formed at a far end, the second handle having a cutting blade formed at the far end. The first handle and hook and second handle and blade pivotally connected for movement with respect to each other. The blade and second handle having a cup formed between the blade and second handle. The hook and first handle having a cup formed between the hook and first handle. The cutting edge of the hook is formed along two concave intersecting arcs of different diameters, the smaller diameter arc located next to the pivot. The cutting edge of the blade is formed along two convex intersecting arcs having diameters that complement the two concave arcs in the hook cutting edge.

Abstract: The invention relates to hand-held hedge shears with an in particular electric driving motor. The hedge shears comprises a gripping housing with a rear handle, wherein a gripping part of the rear handle is rotatable about the longitudinal axis thereof and is lockable in the rotational position thereof by means of a locking element. An operating switch lever for the driving motor is arranged on the rotatable gripping part, wherein the operating switch lever acts by means of a sliding element and a transmission element on a switch unit for the rotational speed position of the driving motor. The sliding element is guided on the locking element in a manner sliding in the direction of the longitudinal axis.
Abstract: A jaw movement mechanism for surgical tools has improved mechanical efficiency and other advantages. The jaw movement mechanism controls the orientation and position of a movable jaw relative to a fixed jaw through a range of movement of the movable jaw. The jaws maintain a parallel orientation throughout a portion of the range of movement of the movable jaw. The jaws maintain an angular relationship throughout a portion of the range of movement of the movable jaw.

Abstract: The invention provides a pair of hairdressing scissors having a joint structure for joining a blade body of the hairdressing scissors. The joint structure enables a blade member and a finger ring member constituting the blade body to be easily assembled and separated from each other. The joint structure provides satisfactorily stable, firm and accurate joint performance and excellent design features. A blade member is formed with an engagement concave portion as an open plane in the base portion thereof and a finger ring member is formed with an engagement-protruding piece in the base portion thereof. When they are engaged and brought into close contact with each other, the engagement-protruding piece and the engagement concave portion are positioned and oriented properly as viewed in a width direction thereof. Thus, the blade member and the finger ring member can be stably assembled in a separable manner.
Abstract: An integrated shaver and hair trimmer device with an adjustable handle includes a shaver and trimmer assembly with a shaver/trimmer head including one or more cutting blade assemblies and an elongated handle assembly connected to the shaver and trimmer assembly. The shaver and trimmer assembly and the handle assembly are constructed and arranged such that at a point of connection of the assemblies either the shaver and trimmer assembly or the handle assembly move or pivot about the point of connection to adjust a position or angle of the handle assembly relative to the shaver and trimmer assembly. The device is further constructed and arranged to securely and removably fix the handle assembly at a required or desired position or angle relative to the shaver and trimmer assembly including any one of a multiple of positions or any position within a certain range of movement of the handle assembly.

Abstract: A pruning device for cutting tree limbs includes a head assembly mounted atop an elongated pole and activated by a tether line. The head assembly can be pivoted to various angles relative to the pole axis without impairing the effectiveness of the tether line to apply pulling force for achieving cutting of upwardly angled tree limbs.
Abstract: A portable pruner comprises a shearing part, a transmission part and a driving part. By using the compound casing tube to achieve rigid axial transmission, the pruner is simple and handy in construction, and accurate and easy to pruning. It can be disassembled into several portions easy to carry and assembled at different lengths depending on the requirement, its effects of cutting are dependable, and so the portable pruner is suitable for pruning branches of various heights in extensive orchards and gardens, while ensuring the safety of the operation. At the same time, the efficiency of pruning trees is improved considerably.
Abstract: A power-driven hedge trimmer includes an engine housing (10) which is attached to a base (11) having a cutting tool (12) and a front handle (13) at one end and a rear handle (14) including a gas control (17) at its other end. The rear handle is rotatable relative to the base to enable adjustment to different operating positions. The axis of rotation of the rear handle is inclined at an angle of about 25.degree. relative to the longitudinal axis of the cutting tool (12). The rear handle can be latched in three predetermined operating positions by a latch device (19, 21, 22, 24). The gas control is connected to a rotatable pawl (19) cooperating with the latch device in order to prevent releasing thereof during actuation of the gas control and to prevent actuation of the gas control during adjustment of the rear handle.
