  • Publication number: 20030204956
Abstract: An adjustable head adapted to an electrical clipper has an engaging port adapted to be securely attached to a side face of a body of the electrical clipper. A trough is defined in the engaging port and cutouts are oppositely defined in two inner side faces of the engaging port. A connecting head is detachably received in the engaging port. The connecting head has a base with two protrusions oppositely formed on two side faces of the connecting head to correspond to the cutouts in the two tracks. Two slits are each defined adjacent to a corresponding one of the two protrusions to provide resilience to the corresponding protrusion and a hollow receiving port is formed on a side of the base. The receiving port is adapted to correspond to teeth of the electrical clipper and has through holes defined in a top face of the receiving port.

  • Patent number: 6618948
Abstract: A hair groomer thinning guide relates to a hair groomer whose casing comes with a -shaped comb carrier featuring combing teeth as a thinning guide on the front end. Both the top and the bottom are equipped with a lengthy groove, with the groomer having a cylindrical switch on its top and a round-shaped adjustable knob on the bottom. The lengthy grooves on the top and bottom plates are fitted with a positioning claw and a braking claw, which are positioned correspondingly on both sides of the switch and the adjustable knob. By pressing the adjustable knob to separate the braking claw from the braking teeth, the comb carrier would then move in linear form back and forth to form irregular pitches between the combing teeth and the groomer, thus thinning the hair, and the comb carrier moves to the front end to turn in 180° forcing the comb face backward, thus freeing the thinning combing teeth.

  • Publication number: 20020053141
Abstract: The disposable cutting head is basically a four element clip together assembly with a base, lower and upper cutting blades, and spring. The base serves as the support for the entire assembly and incorporates the attachment elements for retention to a clipper. The spring holds the elements together, forces the cutting blades together and includes the runner under which the upper blade slides. The entire assembly is such that the head assembly with blades is of the disposable type, but uses metal blades. If desired the blades alone may be disposed and the head assembly reused; however, the structure is not intended for long wear and use. The head and blades are constructed such that the common problems encountered with existing removable/disposable heads and blades as for example heat retention in the blades and head and the catching and pulling of hair are minimized. Use with clipper comb elements is also accommodated.
