Abstract: A two-part fastener for an assembly having a sealed joint formed by at least two flanges or sealing surfaces. A first flange defines a first opening, a second flange defines a second opening with a seal being disposed between the first and second flanges. The flanges and seal are secured together with a bolt and a receiver that defines a threaded hole for receiving the bolt. The receiver includes an end face engaging the first flange and a shoulder engaging the second flange. The spacing between the end face and the shoulder defines a gap for the seal. The shoulder of the receiver may include a weld bead that is welded to the second flange. In one embodiment, three flanges are assembled together with a seal between each flange.

Abstract: A wheel stud includes a fixing segment, which has a first external thread, and a receiving segment, which has a second external thread. Here, the first external thread runs opposite in direction to the second external thread. More particularly, the wheel stud is configured to be connected to a wheel hub through the fixing segment, where the wheel hub includes at least one receiver bore having an internal thread corresponding to the first external thread.

Abstract: In the wheel structure according to the invention, at least one and preferably several profile elements (2.1) are used for the transmission of forces between hub (1) and rim (3). Said parts (1.2, 1.3) are combined or combinable into an intrinsically stiff structure. The structure is particularly suitable for car wheels.
Abstract: A bolt structure is designed to fasten together a hub, an inner wheel rim, and an outer wheel rim of a motor vehicle wheel. The bolt structure includes a bolt body, an inner nut, an outer nut, and a protective cap. The bolt body has a large diametrical segment, a small diametrical segment, and a midsegment located between the large diametrical segment and the small diametrical. The inner nut is engaged with the small diametrical segment, whereas the outer nut is engaged with the large diametrical segment and the protective cap. The midsegment of the bolt body retains the hub of the motor vehicle wheel.
