Abstract: A system for teaching a catcher the proper form for the traditional blocking position comprising a wrist strap, a wrist-to-facemask adjustable tether, a retractable tether, an automatic tether retraction system, a release trigger system, and a leg attachment component. The wrist-to-facemask adjustable tether is detachably engaged to the wrist strap as is the retractable tether. The automatic tether retraction system is mechanically engaged to the retractable tether, and is configured to automatically retract and spool the retractable tether. The release trigger system is mechanically engaged to the retractable tether, and is configured to, at least in part, lock and prevent any extension of the spooled retractable tether.
Abstract: An ECP overlay system for a UIC-type distributor valve includes a manifold body having a pipe bracket face configured to engage a face of a pipe bracket of a brake system, a valve face configured to engage a face of a UIC-type distributor valve of a brake system, and an electric manifold face. The system further including an electric manifold assembly engaged with the electric manifold face of the manifold body, with the electric manifold assembly having a pneumatic mode where the electric manifold assembly is configured to allow pneumatic-only control of a brake cylinder of brake system and an ECP mode where the electric manifold assembly is configured to allow electronic control of a brake cylinder of a rbrake system.

Abstract: A low brake pipe pressure detecting circuit for a railway train is provided in conjunction with a conventional vent valve device typically associated with the locomotive brake valve device to exhaust the train brake pipe pressure and thereby effect an emergency brake application. Conventional pneumatic pilot valve devices are interconnected with the vent valve device to actuate the vent valve device only for a limited duration following which the pilot valves are automatically reset to effect closure of the vent valve device preparatory to recharging brake pipe pressure to obtain a subsequent brake release.
