The excision unit is provided in the probe. The excision unit is in contact with a predetermined portion of the cartilage. The excision unit heats the predetermined portion of the cartilage by ultrasonic vibration converted based on the driving power. The excision unit excises the cartilage by receiving pressure by an operator while being in contact with the cartilage. The controller controls the driving power output from the output unit so that the predetermined portion of the cartilage is heated to a temperature of 120° C. or higher within 2.2 seconds.

A magnet is passed through the internal chamber, allowing the copper coil to break the magnetic fields of the magnet, which creates a burst of electrical current. The current is used to emit light through LED's. Movement of the wearer/user generates the movement of the magnet in the internal chamber, and repelling magnets at the top and bottom of the internal chamber assist the magnet in moving back and forth through the chamber. The inventive device can be adapted for use in many sporting and other applications, such as in running shoes, running belts, rucksacks and as stand-alone wearable lights.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a needle module, which comprises a piercing means on a mounting, which can be releasably coupled to the drive unit so that, as a result of a driving force exerted by the drive unit on the mounting, a repeated pushing movement moving the piercing means in and out is transmitted, wherein, according to the invention, the mounting has a safety device which mechanically irreversibly blocks the piercing means after the needle module has been released from the drive unit so that it can no longer be moved out of the needle module. The invention also relates to a device, in particular a hand device, for piercing the skin, comprising a drive unit and the needle module according to the invention.
