Abstract: The invention relates to a cabinet drawer (1), in particular for tall cabinets, comprising a frame (4) which is to be arranged in the interior of the cabinet body (2) and has a cabinet door (3) or a similar cabinet covering on the front face on a vertical longitudinal support (6). The frame (4), which has a respective support base (7), can be moved out of a first operating position, which lies within the cabinet body (2), into a pull-out position, which lies in front of the cabinet body (2), as a second operating position in a translational manner, and the frame (4), which has an upper (8) and a lower (9) pull-out rail, can be converted into the second operating position using a rear vertical longitudinal support (5) such that the frame (4) can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis in the second operating position.

Abstract: A fastening tool assembly is provided with a housing with a contact surface, a longitudinal magazine receptacle, and a fastener outlet provided through the contact surface. A magazine body is received within the magazine receptacle to translate to a retracted position whereby a proximal end is adjacent the fastener outlet to store fasteners within the receptacle and to convey the fasteners to the fastener outlet, and to translate to an extended position whereby the body extends at least partially out of the receptacle for receipt of fasteners to the receptacle. A blocker is mounted to a side of the magazine body spaced apart from the fastener intake side. The blocker has a transverse width greater than a width of the body for blocking intake of fasteners to a wrong side of the body. Instructional indicia are provided on the blocker to instruct a user regarding proper fastener installation.

Abstract: A card tray ejection mechanism for an electronic device, which includes a first elongated member rotatably mounted to the base, a second elongated member, and a driving member. The first elongated member includes a first end portion resisting against a side of the tray, a second end portion opposite to the first end portion and a pivoting rod located between the first and second end portions. The second elongated member is rotatably connected to the second end portion. The driving member drives the second elongated member to move longitudinally. When the second elongated member is driven to move longitudinally by the driving member, the first elongated member is driven to rotate around the pivoting rod by the second elongated member, and the card tray is ejected. An electronic device using the card tray ejection mechanism is also provided.

Abstract: A reagent cabinet for an automated processing apparatus. The reagent cabinet has a housing, and a drawer slidably mounted in the housing. The drawer has a lower deck adapted to receive a fluid reservoir, and an upper deck located above the lower deck and adapted to receive a fluid supply container. A supply connection hose is provided to selectively connect the fluid supply container to the fluid reservoir. A reservoir connection hose is provided to selectively connect to the fluid reservoir and to convey fluid from the fluid reservoir to a downstream location outside the cabinet. A pump is mounted on the drawer. The pump is adapted to convey fluid through either the supply connection hose or the reservoir connection hose.

Abstract: A storage system (10) is described in which one or more receptacles (14) for storing articles are pivotally supported on a support shaft (12). Each receptacle (14) is provided with a bracket (16) arranged to support the receptacle and coupled to the shaft (12) in a manner to allow the bracket (16) to pivot about the shaft (12). In this way, each receptacle (14) can be individually pivoted about a shaft (12) to allow access to that receptacle and any article stored therein. The storage system (10) makes more efficient use of space and can be accessed more easily than a conventional chest of drawers or cupboard.

Abstract: A display for displaying and dispensing brochures. The display comprises a housing and a transparent door hinged to the housing to swing forwardly when opened. A pocket is pivotally mounted to the same hinge as that pivotally supporting the door. The pocket has a rear panel including a relief, or cut away section, enabling a person to grasp brochures stored in the pocket. A spring is attached to the pin of the hinge, to the door, and to the pocket such that the door is biased into the closed position and the pocket is biased against the door. The door is hinged at the bottom, and has a forwardly turned handle at the top for opening. The housing has an outwardly projecting flange extending along the entirety of the front opening of the housing, and a drip hood. The floor or bottom wall of the housing inclines to promote drainage. In a preferred embodiment, the door and pocket are molded integrally from an elastic material enabling the pocket to be opened elastically.

Abstract: A display case for displaying and dispensing promotional literature, business cards, and the like at unattended sites. The case has a flat base which is supported on one or two nails driven into a supporting environmental surface. The base has a rain hood for protecting papers contained within the display case. A transparent or translucent door is hinged at the bottom to the base, and inclines forwardly to reveal a first or principal pocket containing brochures and a second pocket supported in piggyback fashion on the first pocket. The door has a forwardly bent tab at the top for grasping the door when opening the same. Transparent or translucent nature of the door reveals brochures contained within the display case. The second pocket is smaller, and is preferably dedicated to containing business cards. The hinge is preferably a live hinge fabricated from an elastic material, so that the hinge urges the door into a closed position.

Abstract: A display cabinet is provided for displaying two sides of a computer video game pak or similar merchandise in a secure enclosure. The display cabinet includes an elongated vertical enclosure unit or paddle with a set of spaced apart shelves between transparent facings or panels to form a set of vertically arranged compartments. The game paks or other merchandise are held within the compartments. The enclosure unit or paddle is pivotable back and forth in order to expose the transparent front and back facings of the paddle, thereby enabling the purchaser to view front and back sides of the merchandise, respectively. A lockable access door on the paddle is slidable between open and closed positions, and lockable in the closed position to provide security for the merchandise. Several enclosure units or paddles are pivotably mounted upon a frame by either a hinge or by pivot pins for either flipping or spinning the paddles for viewing.

Abstract: Apparatus for transportation and display of demonstrations and articles of merchandise utilizes a trailer part with undercarriage for facilitating movement from one location to another and is also provided with vertically adjustable castors which can be utilized to lift the carriage clear of a floor or road surface so that the vehicle can be maneuvered on the castors alone. In order to increase the area available for product display while maintaining dimensions more suitable for transport and, at the same time, providing protection for articles being transported, a box like body is provided on or integral with the trailer, the box having open sides covered by box-like covers each cover provided with, when closed, an inward facing open side, the covers each being connected by vertical hinge arrangements to a vertical corner of the body to allow horizontal swing-out-opening, the covers including, within themselves, display spaces which are visible when the covers are opened.

Abstract: A novel combination storage bin and sorting tray comprises a storage bin frame for storing a plurality of article storage containers, and a sorting tray pivotally mounted atop the frame for sorting articles removed from the selected container and for subsequently returning the articles to the selected container upon tipping of the tray relative to the frame.

Abstract: A combined storage apparatus and sorting tray includes a frame formed with a storage bin for storing containers and a tray pivotally mounted to the frame. The tray has an end panel formed with a slot adapted to receive a lip formed at the rim of a container for mounting the container to the end panel so that its interior faces the interior of the tray. The tray is pivotal with respect to the frame between a horizontal, sorting position in which articles from the container are poured into the tray for sorting, and an angled, discharge position in which the tray is elevated at one end so that the articles slide directly into the container mounted at the opposite end.

Abstract: A combination multiple compartment storage bin and sorting tray is disclosed comprised of a frame adapted to hold a plurality of storage bins in a row between first and second oppositely disposed ends of said frame. The frame includes stacker means mounted on the first end for pushing all of the bins together and towards the second end after any one bin has been removed, thereby exposing a slot adjacent the first end into which the previously removed bin may be inserted. A sorting tray is mounted atop the frame for receiving articles from one of the storage bins. The tray is pivotally mounted about the top of the first end of the frame to pivot between a first horizontal position and a second angled position. The tray includes funnel means near the first end for facilitating egress of articles from the tray and into the slot as the tray is pivoted from the first position to the second position.

Abstract: A mobile cabinet with two drop leafs which in its nested position is a beautiful article of furniture and in its operating position provides an easel and work area. One end of said cabinet opens from a nested position to a functioning position in which it supports the drop leafs and two sections provide compartments for tubes of paint, brushes, painting knives, mediums, turpentine, and other artist materials.

Abstract: A merchandising machine shelf supporting structure in which respective left and right hand cabinet panel supported lower guide rails receive rollers mounted at the rear of the shelf and in which left and right hand shelf supported upper guide rails receive cabinet panel carried rollers mounted adjacent to the front of the cabinet. As the shelf is moved manually from a housed or home position at which shelf carried plugs engage cabinet carried sockets the rollers and rails support the cabinet so that the force required to withdraw the shelf is relatively low. As the shelf approaches its intermediate position at which the shelf is to be loaded, pins on the shelf engage stops at the front ends of the lower guide rails and the shelf is permitted to pivot to a position at which the shelf rollers are received in recesses formed by elements secured to lower guide rails. After loading the shelf may easily be returned to its home position.

Abstract: A vending machine which comprises a replaceable, transparent loading magazine forming an array of honeycombed slots holding the goods to be dispensed. The magazine is positioned upside down over a plate having a small trap door under each slot. A chute under the trap doors directs the food falling through the trap doors toward a dispensing slot. The trap doors are controlled by electrical signals generated upon selection of the goods by the customer. The selection is made by dialing on a numerical keyboard the identification of the slot holding the desired item. The selection is enabled by a signal issued from the coin box after acceptance of the correct change.

Abstract: A portable medical kit is provided which maintains medicines, instruments and equipment secure when the kit is closed, presents all of the contained items in a readily visible and easily accessible manner when the kit is open, and provides unambiguous interrelation between specific medicines and instruments to aid the user. The kit can be wall-mounted, as when used in a hospital emergency room; is easily portable, and can be used free-standing on any suitable support surface.
