A lighting device includes optically transparent glass plates provided on side faces and placed on an optical path of light emitted from a light source, where some or all of the optically transparent glass plates contain an optically transparent battery adapted to drive the light source; and an optically transparent glass plate that contains a transparent conductive film by being provided on a bottom face, wherein the optically transparent battery is placed in contact with a pair of transparent conductive film layers, which are connected to the light source. The pair of transparent conductive film layers are formed in a pair of parallel linear grooves formed in a surface of the optically transparent glass plate on the bottom face, and a tabular positive tab and negative tab of the optically transparent battery fit in respective ones of the pair of grooves.

Abstract: A do-it-yourself awards storage and display system is described. The system comprises a cassette having a hollow space therein configured to receive ribbons attached to awards within the hollow space and a cloth cover configured to wrap around the cassette and cover a front surface thereof and configured to display the awards on the cloth cover. The cloth-covered cassette can then be placed into a frame for display.

Abstract: A virtual reflective 3D volumetric display device and a method for creating virtual reflective 3D volumetric imagery are disclosed to present virtual 3D volumetric object imagery without head tracking or tracking a person's view or eye positions, and which neither presents refractive images nor requires VR goggles or headsets, but instead presents pure volumetric object imagery appearing in the three-dimensional shapes of objects, which can be simultaneously viewed by multiple viewers who each view the shapes of the virtual 3D volumetric object imagery from their own point of view. The three-dimension volumetric reflection display adapter and standalone screen delivers the appearance of volumetric effect with ease.

The oven door includes a substantially opaque region that interferes with external observation of the oven cavity while the door is in the closed orientation, and an electrochromic indicator provided to the opaque region. The electrochromic indicator includes a material with a first appearance that renders the electrochromic indicator substantially indistinguishable from the opaque region in a first operational state, and a second appearance in a second operational state that contrasts with the opaque region to issue a notification related to operation of the cooking appliance.

Abstract: In one implementation, a jewelry product display system includes jewelry display cases having translucent panels and product displayed on top of, rather than inside, the display cases. In certain embodiments the display cases may be laid out so that customer can approach both sides of the display case. In some implementations the display cases are arranged to form, when viewed from above, two L-shaped counters that face one another with a low central island positioned between the L-shaped jewelry display counters. In various embodiments this arrangement may increase the sales rate by making product more readily accessible to customers while at the same time keeping theft rates low by mimicking a traditional jewelry environment, which customers may associate with intensified security monitoring, and by creating a shopping environment which is relatively tightly contained, which may tend to deter shoplifting.

Abstract: A framed jewelry wall organizer for storing and displaying jewelry is disclosed. This organizer is encased in a decorative frame. The central opening of the frame holds a fabricated clear, hard, plastic sheet with clear, hard, open top, rounded plastic cups on the front side of the sheet. Vacuum forming or injection molding creates this clear plastic sheet with clear cups and makes it one plastic unit. This clear plastic unit is then placed in the frame. A mat or mirror is then sandwiched behind the clear plastic sheet to add design. The mat or mirror can be clearly seen behind the transparent plastic sheet. Finally, a cardboard backing fits behind the mat or mirror and picture frame points are inserted to hold all of the components in the frame. The framed unit will be hung on a wall with picture frame hardware.
