The enclosure closely receives the chassis to eliminate relative movement therebetween. The bezel has an integral handle with a pair of tabs which engage recesses in the enclosure when the chassis is in the enclosure. Abstract: A computer desk module has a trapezoidal desk top with an opening. A transparent window plate is supported in the desk top so as to cover the opening. A pull-out keyboard shelf is supported under a front edge portion of the desk top. A computer monitor is suspended under the desk top so its screen is inclined upward to allow viewing of the screen through the window plate. A plurality of the computer desk modules are assembled end-to-end into various semi-trapezoidal clusters, S-shaped clusters, and straight line clusters. Overhead power and data bus cables are routed from a classroom ceiling into tubular legs supporting a decorative cover against the ceiling. The legs extend upward from a cabinet having a semi-octagonal shape that mates with a semi-octagonal cluster of the computer desk modules. The cables pass through the legs, through the cabinet, into the various computer desk modules forming the cluster, and to the monitor and a computer in each of the computer desk modules.

Abstract: A height controllable desk having a top plate having a first end and a second end with a first desk support and a second desk support having a first plurality of vertically spaced members thereon for providing vertically positionable support to the second end of the top plate and a U-shaped connecting cover having a plurality of vertically spaced members securable at different vertical locations to the first desk support to provide support for the first end of the top plate whereby the top plate can be adjusted to the proper vertical height on both ends thereof.

Abstract: A hand foldable and portable article of furniture comprising planar back and right and left side members hinged at edge surfaces thereof such that the right and left side members swing between a folded position with the side members on a back of the back member and a unfolded position in which the side members are substantially perpendicular to the back member and upper edges of the back and side members are interlocked in mating grooves in a planar top member, one of the back and side members being transversely bendable at its upper edge to spring lock into its mating groove to tightly interlock the article of furniture in its unfolded position.

Abstract: A digital work station can be used in a radiology lab, with x-ray illuminators on an upper shelf for viewing traditional film x-rays, and computer monitors, e.g., CRTs at a lower shelf for viewing digitized x-rays. The work station is ergonomically arranged for radiologist's viewing comfort and efficiency. The height of the illuminators can be adjusted, and the shelves for the computer monitors can be adjusted also to accomodate the user preference. The monitor shelf can be level or angulated (e.g., 20 degrees) and is adjustable up and down in either orientation. The upper shelf is adjusted to minimize the gap above the monitors, and the front edge of the upper shelf maintains alignment with the sloping edge of the side walls if the upper shelf is elevated or lowered. Power outlets are provided on the front edges of the side walls just above a work shelf. The work shelf can have pull-out writing shelves.
