Patent number: 11584284Abstract: Countertop storage assembly are provided. In one example, a countertop storage assembly includes a countertop having a countertop area outer surface, a countertop area inner surface, and an opening formed therethrough. A retractable storage assembly includes a lid that is disposed in the opening when in a closed position and that moves between the closed position and an open, retracted position. During movement from the closed position to the open, retracted position, the lid moves downward and away from the opening to below the countertop off-set from the opening. A storage area includes a base that is in a retracted position situated below the countertop when the lid is in the closed position. The base moves from the retracted position to a deployed position where the base is disposed in the opening when the lid is in the open, retracted position.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2020Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Inventors: Timothy Allen Davis, Timothy O'Hara

Publication number: 20110146541Abstract: A storage assembly adapted to be secured to a work surface includes an enclosure defining an interior, wherein the enclosure is adapted to be secured around an opening in the work surface. A platform is disposed within the enclosure, and a cover is connected to the enclosure and configured to enclose the interior of the enclosure. The cover is movable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the cover in the closed position forms a top wall for the enclosure, and wherein the cover in the open position exposes the platform. A movement control arrangement is connected between the enclosure, the platform and the cover. The movement control arrangement and the enclosure have cooperating guide slot structure for receiving and guiding the platform, and enabling raising and lowering of the platform within the enclosure in response to movement of the cover between the open and closed positions.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2009Publication date: June 23, 2011Applicant: KRUEGER INTERNATIONAL, INC.Inventors: Dennis G. Patent number: 7667466Abstract: An electronics testing assembly includes a housing, a tester assembly, and an activation assembly. The housing is sized to retain the activation assembly and at least one electronics testing device. The tester enclosure is configured to house a plurality of tester connector interfaces that are mounted to a first connector plate. The activation assembly includes an actuator assembly and a plurality of activation connector interfaces mounted to a second connector plate. The actuator assembly is configured to move the second connector plate between a lowered vertical position and a raised vertical position within the housing while maintaining a fixed orientation of the tester enclosure relative to the housing. In the lowered vertical position the activation connector interfaces are spaced apart from the tester connector interfaces, and in the raised vertical position the activation connector interfaces are engaged with the tester connector interfaces to create an electrical connection.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2007Date of Patent: February 23, 2010Assignee: Benchmark ElectronicsInventor: Peter Jackson

Patent number: 6799695Abstract: A dispensing device is provided for sanitary napkins of various shapes and sizes. The device is conveniently and efficiently packaged for optimal placement and utility within the private facilities of a home. The device includes a hinged lid allowing ready placement of the sanitary napkins within the device housing. When closed, a latch secures the lid. On one or more sides of the housing, a door is provided near the bottom that allows the user to retrieve a sanitary napkin from the bottom of the housing. The door or doors are hinged with a spring providing a bias to the closed position. Attached to the lid is a spring, the spring having an attached compression plate. When the lid is closed, the spring forces the compression plate against the sanitary napkins within the housing, thus maintaining the sanitary napkins in the proper position and orientation for grasping by the user, through the door. Hooks are provided to support a disposal bag.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2002Date of Patent: October 5, 2004Inventor: Miguel Borrero
