Abstract: The invention relates to a shutter for furniture, cabinets, shelf units and the like, having at least two shutter parts which are arranged next to one another, which shutter parts can be pivoted on the furniture carcass about an axis of rotation, can be transferred by means of an inner guide from a common plane into two mutually parallel planes and can then be slid over one another, wherein the first shutter part, which is furthest away from the axis of rotation, interacts with the second shutter part, which is closer to the axis of rotation, by way of at least two guide means arranged on inner sides thereof, and wherein an outward thrusting mechanism interacts with the first shutter part, wherein the outward thrusting mechanism can be moved from an inoperative position into an operative position.

Abstract: The present invention relates a water tank assembly for use in a refrigerator comprising a compartment for fresh food, a water dispenser and/or an ice making apparatus, two side by side extendable drawers in the compartment, a lower plate underside of the extendable drawers and two outer guiding members for slidably supporting the extendable drawers respectively from their outer sides. The water tank assembly comprises a water tank. The water tank assembly of the present invention further comprises a casing for installation between the extendable drawers and onto the lower plate, wherein the water tank is disposed into the casing.

Abstract: A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet and a drawer slidably mounted within the cabinet. The drawer includes a drawer body and a door attached to the drawer body via a hinge such that the door is rotatable relative to the drawer body between a closed position and an open position. The drawer also includes a latch configured to retain the door in the closed position when the latch is locked. The drawer is slidable between a retracted position where the door of the drawer is proximate the cabinet and an extended position where the door of the drawer is spaced apart from the cabinet. The latch is configured to automatically unlock when the drawer slides to the extended position which allows the door to rotate to the open position when the drawer is in the extended position.

Abstract: A sorting outlet module for a postal sorting machine, provided with a bay for receiving a storage tray for storing mailpieces, and, inside the bay, is provided with a support for supporting the storage tray in the manner of a drawer. The support is mounted to move in translation in a longitudinal direction between a storage position in which the tray on the support is retracted inside the bay and a transfer position in which the tray on the support is out of the bay. The support is also provided with pivot and alignment means for pivoting and aligning the tray, which means are arranged in such a manner that pivoting the tray through 90° on the support relative to the longitudinal direction causes one end of tray to be aligned with one side of the bay while also maintaining the tray as close as possible to the bay.

The locking device mounted on the telescopic tubes to hold the inner tube in position. When the tool cabinet is used, the hanging device can be extended out to hang and store tools. A sliding panel and a pivoting panel are operable to cover and uncover the opening. The sliding panel is slidable between a closed position covering a second portion of the opening adjacent the first portion and an intermediate open position disposed in lapped relation with the pivoting panel when the pivoting panel is in the closed position thereof so as to provide access to the compartment through the second portion. The sliding panel is pivotable, when in the intermediate open position thereof, together with the pivoting panel into a fully open position to provide access to both the first and second portions of the opening.

Abstract: A rectangular compartment for receiving and dispensing pressurized gas cylinders. The compartment, for its use, requires a minimal space both inside and outside the compartment. The compartment contains a tank receiving unit configured to receive multiple tanks arranged in files. The tank receiving unit is pivoted near its center of mass so as to permit easy rotation in place of the tank receiving unit. The compartment is provided with an access door. When the access door is open and the tank receiving unit is rotated outward to receive tanks, the tank receivers in a file protect a short distance outside the compartment and are arranged one above the other. When the access door is closed, the tanks are in an upright position and secured in that position by an interlock between the tank receiving unit and the access door.

The frame includes a tray for supporting the power supply thereon and an elongate arm extending from the tray. A first end of the arm is pivotally attached to the computer enclosure by a vertically extending pivot pin whereby the frame is horizontally movable between a retracted position and an extended position for selectively positioning the power supply out of the computer enclosure. Openings may be defined on a second end of the arm for engaging with projections formed on the computer enclosure for securing the second end of the arm to the computer enclosure.

Abstract: A portable utility stand for computer equipment and the like is disclosed which comprises a cabinet having a front, rear, and sides. A main compartment is disposed in a lower part of the cabinet and an auxiliary compartment is disposed in an upper part of the cabinet above the main compartment. A support tray assembly is carried in the auxiliary compartment which includes a slidable base. A utility tray for supporting a keyboard rotatably is carried by the slidable base so that the tray rotates on the base. The utility tray has a stored position wherein the tray and base are generally longitudinally aligned and are received longitudinally in the auxiliary compartment, and an operational position wherein the tray is withdrawn from the compartment and oriented at a desired angle relative to the base for keyboard operation.

At least two pairs of rollers are mounted on the outer surface of the outer side of the frame and are rotatably received in the tracks so that the frame can be slidably inserted or removed from the case. The frame includes at least one positioning hole defined on the back face of the frame. The holes of the flange correspond to the positioning holes of the back face of the frame, such that when the respective holes are aligned, the frame and the case are aligned as well and secured together by fasteners.

Abstract: The present invention relates to front panel display construction for computers. The front panel includes a panel assembly secured to the computer having an opening formed therein so as to provide access to internal components of the computer. In addition, the front panel has a display member pivotably secured to the panel assembly which pivots between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the internal components of the computer are accessible to a user or operator and in the closed position, access to the internal components is inhibited.

Abstract: A rotating base for furniture which is provided with a pull-out system is fitted with a member which is attached to the body of the furniture so that it rotates about a vertical axis, whereby runway rails to support the rotating base are fitted to the member. The rotational movement of the member in relation to the body of the furniture is coupled by a coupling mechanism in such a way to the linear pulling out movement of the rotating base in relation to the member, that the rotating base cannot strike against the body of the funiture in the pulled-out position.

When the tray is slid to its open position providing access to the keyboard the dust cover door may be pivoted to an orientation wherein the inside of the door is positioned to support the wrists or hands of the operator.

Abstract: The housing is intended for use with data entry equipment having first manual control elements for routine operation and second manual control elements not required for routine operation and comprises a baseplate and a cover device covering the baseplate while leaving the first manual control elements exposed. The cover device comprises a first covering element, which is adapted to be opened to expose the entire interior of the housing, and a second covering element, which normally covers the second manual control elements and is adapted to be opened independently of the first covering element to expose the second manual control elements.

Abstract: A sewing machine storage cabinet is disclosed wherein a first portion is attached to a wall and contains a sewing machine attached to a table capable of moving from a vertical folded position, about a horizontal axis, to a horizontal operative position. A second part of the cabinet is attached to the first part and provides a door to cover the table and associated machine when in its folded position. The exterior of the door may be provided with a design to improve its aesthetic quality when in its closed position. The cabinet also contains a sewing basket in which extra needles, thread, bobbins, etc. may be stored.

Abstract: In an electrical switchboard vertical section, vertically adjacent pairs of cubicle doors are mounted by common hinge blocks located adjacent door corners and releaseably, latchingly retained in their closed positions by common latch blocks located adjacent opposed door corners. Horizontally aligned pairs of hinge and latch blocks additionally serve as mounts for instrument compartments located in the spaces available between vertically adjacent doors; these compartments slidingly accomodating drawout instrument drawers.

Abstract: A concealed compartment in a storage chest is provided. The compartment is located in the lower portion of the chest and is disguised with a movable bottom faceboard. The faceboard is preferrably provided with decorative molding strips to conceal its attachment to the chest. In use the molding strips are detachable allowing the faceboard to be moved away and provide access to the hidden compartment.

Abstract: A housing for electronic equipment includes a bottom cabinet and an upper compartment mounted thereon with the cover of the compartment including a front panel having operating buttons and/or other control features located thereon. The rear walls of the upper compartment and bottom cabinet form a common member for both sections of the apparatus. The upper compartment has a cover which includes the front panel and which cover is hinged at its upper rear corner to the upper edge of the common rear panel or closure member so as to be upwardly and rearwardly tiltable to expose the interior of the upper compartment. The common rear wall or closure member is also pivoted adjacent its bottom end on the lower cabinet so as to be rearwardly and downwardly tiltable to expose from the rear the interiors of the upper compartment and lower cabinet.
