Thereafter, an excess substrate region is removed so as to separate the etched first region from the excess substrate region. In various embodiments, the etched and separated first region serves as a pellicle for an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography process.

In each of the pair of longer side portions, the spacing between the outer bead and the inner bead is at least 2 mm. This makes it possible to suppress wavy wrinkles generated in the perforated portion, so that the image quality of a color picture tube can be improved.
