The method is applied to an electronic device including a display screen and a distance sensor disposed under the display screen, and the method includes: acquiring an operating parameter of a target display circuit on the display screen, the target display circuit being disposed at a position corresponding to a position of the distance sensor; acquiring an operation time period of the distance sensor; acquiring a compensation parameter of the distance sensor according to the operation time period, the compensation parameter of the distance sensor being positively correlated to the operation time period; and compensating the operating parameter of the target display circuit according to the compensation parameter of the distance sensor to acquire a compensated operating parameter of the target display circuit.
