Abstract: A switching-type vertical deflection output circuit comprises: an output-stage circuit constituted of first and second diodes and first and second switching elements, a smoothing circuit, a vertical deflection coil, a reference vertical sawtooth voltage generation unit, a voltage conversion unit of a vertical deflection current, an error voltage generation unit which obtains an error voltage between the reference vertical sawtooth voltage and the conversion voltage of the voltage conversion unit, a drive unit, and a pump-up circuit which pumps up a power-supply voltage to be supplied to the output-stage circuit during the flyback period. The vertical deflection waveform is stabilized by applying a pump-up pulse of the pump-up circuit to the feedback input terminal through an impedance circuit.
Abstract: A deflecting yoke apparatus comprising first and second frame coils configured to correct a vertical horizontal misconvergence first and second main coils and first and second sub-coils which are wound around a core and configured to deflect in a vertical direction electron beams which have passed through a magnetic field generated by the first and second frame coils, a first deflecting current supply portion configured to pass a serriform deflecting current to the first and second main coils, and a second deflecting current supply portion configured to supply to the first and second sub-coils through a first and second diodes connected in parallel so as to have opposed directions a deflecting current which is supplied to the first and second main coils by the first deflecting current supply portion.
Abstract: An organic electronic device functioning as a flat EL display panel is provided by forming an organic EL element and a nonlinear device as a drive means for controlling a current supplied to the EL device on a common substrate. The nonlinear device has a structure including a first organic layer and a second organic layer each comprising an organic material, and at least one metal layer principally comprising a metal element and sandwiched between the first and second organic layers so as to flow at least a part of current through the metal layer between the first and second organic layers sandwiching the metal layer. The nonlinear device having a function comparable to a conventional organic transistor or diode can be formed by using not a special organic material having a remarkably high mobility but an organic material selected from a broader class of materials.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for reducing an electric field produced by display devices equipped with cathode ray tubes, in their surroundings. According to the invention, a part of a spectrum (ff), caused by a picture content, the level of which is separately adjusted, is discriminated from an interference voltage frequency spectrum (fs), produced by the display terminal and caused by deflection signals (fv, fh). Spurious pulses, significant for the generation of the electric field, are connected to a compensation circuit, wherein they are summed and supplied to a common emitter. The directions of the pulses are determined so that the electric field produced by the emitter reverses the field produced by the display device.
