With Space Discharge Device Patents (Class 324/76.67)
  • Patent number: 10079565
Abstract: An electrically-driven vehicle includes: a battery; an induction motor connected to the battery; a synchronous motor connected to the battery that is connected to the induction motor; and at least one electronic control unit configured to change a slip frequency command of the induction motor based on a predetermined frequency of current fluctuation when a temperature of the battery is low such that an amplitude of the current fluctuation increases, the current fluctuation being any one of current fluctuation of a battery current or current fluctuation of a battery-related current that relates to the battery current.

  • Patent number: 8428114
Abstract: Transmit equalization over high speed digital communication paths may be compensated in a receiver for a probe on that path. In one example, a probe input provides a signal from an electronic communications path, the signal having been processed by a transmit equalizer. A filter circuit processes the signal to compensate for the transmit equalizer, and a decoder decodes the processed signal and produces an output for use by test equipment.

  • Patent number: 8089008
Abstract: When a start pulse is supplied, a time-constant circuit (1) is charged to a voltage Vcc, and charge in a variable capacitor (C) is discharged through a resistor (R1). Upon the voltage (a) of the variable capacitor (C) reaching a preset reference voltage V1, a signal (b) is output from a comparator (2). In response to the signal (b), a time measuring circuit (3) stores a measured time period as a time period “T1”, and at the same time a switching signal (c) is output. The switching signal (c) switches the reference voltage V1 to a reference voltage V2, which is slightly lower than the reference voltage V1, and further switches the resistor R1 to a resistor R2, which has higher resistance than the resistor R1. Upon the voltage (a) of the variable capacitor (C) reaching the reference voltage V2, the signal (b) is output from the comparator 2. In response to the signal (b), the time measuring circuit (3) stores a measured time period as a time period “T2”.

  • Patent number: 7926012
Abstract: A method is provided to improve the usability of Design-For-Testability Synthesis (DFTS) tools and to increase the design process productivity. The method comprises receiving a list of testability and design impact analysis functions, to be performed on the circuit, also referred to as a device under test (DUT). The impact analysis leads to the creation of logical transformations, which can be selected by a user with one or more available transformation methods from a list including, but not limited to, boundary scan test logic insertion, scan test logic insertion, memory BIST (built-in-self-test) logic insertion, and logic BIST logic insertion, and scan test data compression insertion logic insertion.

  • Patent number: 7319316
Abstract: A probe apparatus configured to measure a set of electrical characteristics in a plasma processing chamber, the plasma processing chamber including a set of plasma chamber surfaces configured to be exposed to a plasma is disclosed. The probe apparatus includes a collection disk structure configured to be exposed to the plasma, whereby the collection disk structure is coplanar with at least one of the set of plasma chamber surfaces. The probe apparatus also includes a conductive path configured to transmit the set of electrical characteristics from the collection disk structure to a set of transducers, wherein the set of electrical characteristics is generated by an ion flux of the plasma. The probe apparatus further includes an insulation barrier configured to substantially electrically separate the collection disk and the conductive path from the set of plasma chamber surfaces.

  • Patent number: 7005843
Abstract: A position indicator includes a time-constant circuit having an element whose characteristic continuously varies in response to operation represented as a continuous quantity such as writing force, and capable of switching the variation range of time constant in response to the variation in characteristic of the element in at least two ways; and a discharging/charging device capable of discharging the time-constant circuit from a predetermined voltage to a voltage below a specified voltage, or charging the time-constant circuit from the predetermined voltage to a voltage exceeding the specified voltage. Using the time-constant circuit and discharging/charging device, the number of waves of AC signals at a specified frequency is counted from the discharge start time to the time when the voltage falls below the specified voltage, or from the charge start time to the time when the voltage exceeds the specified voltage, by switching the variation range of time constant.
